Barr is reportedly supporting the Re-authorization of the of the Law that allows the FISA Court to continue AS-IS...but he did make it clear he does support some of the proposed 'fixes' being suggested for it.
So far, not one of the individuals who have been identified as having committed FISA Court Abuses, who have been recommended for Indictment, have been Indicted, charged, and / or sent to prison....
So far, the FISA Court, seeking to ensure their own continued existence, directed the FBI to come up with their own self-policing plan to convince the FISA court that the same crimes the FBI have committed over a decade under 2 Directors will never happen again....
So Far, the current FBI Director - Wray, who minimized the severity / magnitude of the crimes his GBO committed again by saying they weren't anything a few changes couldn't fix....and no firings or convictions were needed....
So far, the very Deep State Criminals who engaged in / facilitated the FBI's latest FISA Court abuses are the same ones put in charge of making sure the FBI's proposed fixes work and there are no more FISA Court abuses and illegal spying by the FBI....
....and Barr is supposedly good with that and supports the re-authorization of the law as is?!
Barr is supporting a “clean” reauthorization of the law. However, he did make it clear he supports some of the proposed fixes.
Michael Horowitz, the Justice Department’s internal watchdog, had told Congress in December that he was concerned that “so many basic and fundamental errors” were made by the FBI as it investigated ties between the Trump campaign and Russia in 2016.
Trump, along with many Republicans, have argued that Horowitz identified FISA problems that must be remedied before reauthorizing the surveillance law.
The FBI violated both the Constitution and existing laws. trampled onus Constitutional Rights, and used the FIA Court in a failed political coup - allowing the FISA Court to make a mockery of all of that by allowing the very criminals who committed these crimes to police themselves while going back to using the same processes...and no one being punished for their crimes / no deterrent for not doing it again...is a GUARANTEE that they WILL commit the same crimes and victimize Americans AGAIN!
Former CIA Director John Brennan was caught illegally spying on Americans, reporters, US SENATORS, and even USSC Justices - and he was never truly punished. NO DETTERENCE. Once again, he was caught illegally spying on Trump and his team in the failed coup attempt initiated by Barak Obama (according to former NSA Director Clapper)
As far as the FISA Court goes, Barr is completely wrong n this one -- NIX IT UNTILYOU FIX IT.
To the criminals who are whining about how doing so would harm our National Security, THEY did this...so they can STFU!
