Never Forget! Ashli Babbit Died For Their Freedom To Trample On Our Right To Have Our Votes Count

She was already halfway through the window. It would have taken no more than a few seconds.

You are so deranged you don’t think a few seconds is considered an immediate threat.

This is the most idiotic thing you’ve said in a long time.

No she wasn't because she fell backwards into the room she was just in.

There were only two officers in position to shoot. Byrd and another officer further down in the Speaker's Lobby. The other officer didn't have a clear shot because from his angle, he could have it someone else had he missed. Byrd was the only officer there with a clear shot and the perfect angle.

I'm talking about all the other officers, some of them mingling with the very people trying to break the door down, who were SWAT level armed, and didn't open fire.

Why would there be a trial or an indictment for a justifiable shoot??

It wasn't justifiable, and your constant excuses don't make it so, nor does the whitewash done by the Federal government, whatever "department"

Jesus Christ. Splitting hairs is the best you can do.

Fact remains she was mere seconds away from reaching the officers in that hallway after the mob broke through the only barrier separating them.

When someone is a few seconds away from attacking you, that’s an immediate threat.

None of them were in a position to stop her when she climbed up that broken out window frame. Not one. Six out of seven of them were heading downstairs and the one remaining, was turned away from the window, engaged in conversation with someone else.

LOL

By "excuses," you mean legally employing lethal force to stop an immediate threat.

Poor Marty. :itsok:

unarmed, and a woman.

And yet none of them felt the need to open fire, far more effectively due to their armament.

Would you have found it a valid shoot if they shot every dude breaking down the door?

Again, no other cop had a clear shot. Only 2 were even looking when she climbed up that broken out window. So how could other shoot when they either left already or weren't looking?

For breaking down the door? No. But had they broken down the door and started making their way into the Speaker's Lobby, hell yes.

It wasn't legally, it was a bad shoot covered up by the system.

Nope, it actually was legal. Two independent departments investigated and determined it was justifiable. As a result, the Justice Department decided not to pursue criminal charges.

Here's the kicker -- THEY decide when a law is broken, you don't. From you, it's just frustrated, whiney bitching.

I’m looking at the regulations for use of deadly force and it doesn’t say anything about not being able to shoot a woman.

The officer felt a rational fear for his safety and acted accordingly. Babbitt made her threat by crawling through the violently broken window of a barricaded door.

She was seconds away from being able to attack them but you say that’s not imminent.

No facts matter to you. You made up your mind and will twist, lie and ignore anything to the contrary.

No other cop shot the entire day.

Unarmed. Lets make sure we tell riot cops that going forward everywhere.
