New Orleans district, that always votes democrat, found to have 588 voters registered to an empty building

In a heavily gerrymandered state that just sent the likes of John Kennedy back to the United States Senate.....sheesh.
We should care about your conspiracy theory BS why? :auiqs.jpg:

Because it's hilarious to check out what they drag in the door as "evidence". In this case a random group called "Citizens for a New Louisiana" who apparently bought a web page but bring no links whatsoever to back up their stories. A group that describes itself as, quote:

After years of standing on the sidelines and watching our local government put new taxes on the ballot, one election after another, a group of concerned citizens decided it was time for local taxpayers to hear a different narrative – one they knew to be true but weren’t hearing from the local government or the local media. ,,,The news media was of little help getting the information out, so our volunteers had to self-publish our findings directly to the local population with the help of some local, private donations.

Critical thinking is a lost art.

I guess this is nothing, right? You think if this was a red district the democrats would be ok with it? Where do these people really live? Are they really people? Not giving your real address is a crime and means you SHOULD NOT VOTE.

Nah, no voter fraud to see here.

These tales are always a hoot!

The version I had heard when this one was first making the rounds was set in Philadelphia:

Election Official, touring the neighborhood, checking registration lists, asks Local Political Activist: "Why does that three-decker show 482 registered voters?"
Local Political Activist: "The second floor is vacant."

It's an easy matter to verify or disallow occupancy and eligibility: https://voterrecords.com/street/camp+st-new+orleans-la/4

Each day Ozanam Inn, 843 Camp Street, New Orleans, provides the following services at no charge:
Prepares and serves 600 to 650 hot meals a day...

This confection is highly dubious, of course. Why would anyone believe this source?

... The suit names Lafayette-based conservative activist Michael Lunsford and his organization Citizens for a New Louisiana, alongside another Facebook bomb thrower from Livingston Parish. The pair targeted a Livingston librarian with posts portraying her as a “pedophile.”
“Defendant Lunsford and Defendant CFANL have portrayed, and continue to portray, Amanda Jones as a criminal and a pedophile — one who supports dissemination of ‘pornographic materials’ to elementary school children,” the lawsuit alleges.
Reality Check: What politicians and/or prosecutors have pursued this alleged electoral impropriety in any court or other legal venue anywhere in the state? Who has been charged with election fraud?

You are correct.

It is a men's homeless shelter that had recently moved when this group found the building.

Here is a story about them moving, a move that had been planned since Feb 2020.
