New Orleans Mayor: No Time to Evacuate City!?????

Democrat leadership is always a disaster, especially when the Democrat is some worthless affirmative action Negro ho bitch.

Our local weatherman was predicting the hurricane to be a Cat 4 or 5 at landfall a couple of days ago. Does that Negro bitch Mayor even listen to weather reports?

Been over a week they would be hit by Ida, days ago it was forecasted it would be a Cat 4.
And no time to reverse roads out of the city 30 hours before landfall????

Democrat leadership on display.

C'mon man.
He's a stockholder in the hotels around Houston.
MHGA !

Anyone with a lick of sense would run from a forecast of 2 feet of rain and 140 mph winds

Only dumbasses wait to be told to evacuate
Anyone with a lick of sense would run to get vaccinated against a deadly virus.

Only a dumbass would wait to be told to get vaccinated.

They've been told to evacuate. It just wasn't made mandatory.

Yeah.....against a deadly virus. I'd be knocking people over to get to the head of the line to take this synthetic new technology if this virus had a kill rate of 70 percent like marburg, ebola reston, ebola zaire. Fortunately, this virus has a recovery rate of 99.7 percent.

It was not days ago. You made up that part. The problem is that they cannot order mandatory evacuation, because they cant set up and enforce all the traffic flow on all the main roads and highways.

Why? They should have a plan to have the majority of roadways designated as exits from the city. That should be something they can put into place in a short amount of time. Hurricanes don't pop up like tornadoes, FF...they're seen coming a LONG way off!

They do, of course. But implementing it and actually getting the people off the road takes time. If the made it mandatory right now, they fear 10s of 1000s would end up stuck on the road when the hurricane hits. So they cant order it as mandatory, they can only recommend evacuation.

Yes, but the forecast for this one changed in a matter of a couple of hours yesterday (re: anticipated intensity when it makes landfall). That's the wild card here.

Why isn't Biden down there evacuating the city?

If there is one thing I learned from Hurricane Katrina back in the day, the President is the first responder who has to take responsibility for this kind of thing. Just like Dubya took the blame for that previous storm and flood.
Feds don't have jurisdiction until they are REQUESTED.

Don't worry, Biden is on top of this crisis.

Dude, I live in Florida. Places like this have plans for things like hurricanes. In a state of emergency they turn all the lanes on highways into exit roadways. My point was why didn't that happen in New Orleans? Leadership seems to be an issue here. The city has a long history of riding out storms by going to higher ground...not evacuation. It's part of the reason so many people didn't leave before Katrina and probably won't leave now.

Which is why you have plans in place to turn highways into exit only routes! Which is why as a citizen living in New Orleans you're ready to go if a storm looks ominous. Did the Mayor have buses and drivers ready to evacuate those with no vehicles? If not...why not? You need to learn from what happened in a storm like Katrina so the same things don't happen again.

THE CITY IS BELOW SEA LEVEL. DO THE FUCKING MATH.

The government did do one thing right after Hurricane Katrina, they mandated any rebuilt housing be up on pillars or stilts.

No worries.... they can blame Trump

Which they do have. They just dont have time to implement it in under 36 hours, because people will be stuck on the road when the hurricane hits. They were caught offguard with little time, when the forecast changed in a couple hours.
