Looks bland, generic, boring and sterile to me really.

At first it showed some promise but the more I watched it the more it looked and felt like any number of other animated movies from the past 4 or 5 years. Especially the comedy, the comedy still follows the same formula as other animated movies. Most animated movies now follow a paint by numbers formula.

And the final scene with Luigi reminded me of a thousand other trailers.

And Chris Pratt? Eh, no thanks. He was funny in small doses in parks and recreation but aside from that even his voice is not interesting at all. He is still the reason why I gave guardians of the Galaxy a 7 because he seemed to drag down otherwise perfect casting. Might have been a 8 or 9 if they had someone better as starlord.

Much as I like Mario I really have no interest in this movie. Honestly I'd rather they put out a new scan blu ray release of the original Mario movie. Yeah John leguazamoo or however you spell it is constantly annoying but it was entertaining.
