The best thing about the NFL season is what it does to the golf courses.

The best time of the year to play golf is Sunday after 11:00 am. At such times, it's only me and a small bunch of Asians on the course. I can play multiple balls to get great practice with no one trailing me on the course and pushing me to play faster.

If the NFL has no season this will all change. All the people who spend their Sundays hibernating in front of the tube will be looking for something else to do...golf, perhaps?
