Everything Obama ever did was 100% the exact correct thing to do and everything Trump does is 100% the exact wrong thing to do.

If Obama did it, it’s legal, by definition.

The president took issue with Mueller’s public statement on his investigation into Russian election interference. Although Mueller declined to charge Trump with obstruction, he explicitly refused to exonerate the president.

“If we had had confidence that the president had clearly not committed a crime, we would have said so,” Mueller said. “Charging the president with a crime is not an option we could consider.”

In other words Mueller had two options

A. Say Trump was innocent. He would not and could not say that.

or

B. Basically say there isn't enough to charge the president with a crime, because basically we don't charge sitting presidents with crimes.

Pretty bad when the best Mueller could say was “concluded it would not reach a determination — one way or the other — about whether the President committed a crime.”
