Please tell me you are not this ignorant. When the government runs a weather service that have to have some way of obtaining and analyzing information. Do you think that information just appears like magic? We are talking about satellites and hundreds of manned and unmanned weather stations. And even if a weather station is unmanned it will still need maintenance. The web sites happen to be at the tail end of the process. There are hundreds of people feeding those websites.

1. the Republicans shut down federal agencies that conservatives don't even believe should exist in the first place.

2. what makes conservatives most angry is that popular federal government agencies are being shut down,
