Scoffing at accusations of communism is a bit old. We all know that communists have evolved into something else. You're essentially a Statist. Statists believe in viewing the state as a homogeneous institution capable of using political power to force policy on a passive or resisting society. You believe in an elitist theory of power rather than a pluralist theory of power; that power is exercised by individuals and competing organisations within society. It is not pure communism which believes in the forced takeover of a country and it's representative government.

The reason we do not have a budget is because we have a Congress that is being held hostage by the Republican Party. They are a party that has declared that if they do not get to call the shots, they will prevent anyone else fromcalling the shots either
Congress cannot pass the most simple legislation, let alone a budget based on consensus

Obama's position has been "Fuck Congress, I am moving on without them"
