Have efforts towards peace and building goodwill in the world completely vanished?

Let's stop small wars with many bigger wars and try to weakly justify it. Two wrongs don't make a right.

Without us, there was more than enough continuous war already in the Middle East. We are setting up many times more instability there that guarantee widespread war there for centuries. What possible justification is there for that?

There are good reasons why dictators have come to power, the best they could achieve to stop the different sides from really slaughtering each other. At least, that was creating a long downturn in war, and there was hope. With U.S. massive aggravation, are we making them start from square one and how evil is that?

The American people overwhelmingly don't support Obama's ego war, I believe Congress should reflect and respect that.

Granted, they rarely do anymore..

Over 50% support stopping chemical attacks with an attack that is over quickly, no boots, and no casualties. what is coming.

44% believe O-Care has been repealed, or aren't sure. Hat's off to our crappe media! Pub dupes everywhere...

Even the left wing pablum pundits disagree with you...56% opposed vs 36% Obama butt munchersThe American People Really Don't Want To Bomb Syria (POLLS)

Which shows me they follow their convictions rather than just disagreeing because Obama has a D next to his name. If this were a Republican president you guys would be waving american flags, singing "Proud to be an American", and calling those who do not support the strike unamerican liberal pussies. Just 8 years ago your Republican nominee ran on warmongering in the Middle East. Remember, "bomb, bomb, bomb Iran", but all of the sudden you guys have gone from hawks to doves. I don't buy it.

Germany says that reports of how many died may have been a mistake and no one knows who used them.

Syria crisis: G20 summit - live - Telegraph

German intelligence believes the Syrian regime was behind last month's chemical attack but that the large death toll may be the result of a dosage "mistake", news site Spiegel Online has reported.

Spiegel cited secret briefings to MPs reportedly given by the director of Germany's BND foreign intelligence service, Gerhard Schindler.

Schindler reportedly said that the August 21 attack appeared to stem from Syrian government forces, although there was no absolute proof.

As oil runs out, just how incredibly desperate will Arabs get then? Instead of being grateful and helping them, all we do is make it worse.

By the end of this week, obama will be lucky if there isn't a UN resolution on US regime change.

I doubt if there are many people who realize how dangerous this G20 meeting is for obama. He's already marginalized and trivialized. This world body of developed nations will discuss Syria. They will be presented with a report prepared by the Russians of 100 pages on how the rebels used chemical weapons along with a coherent plan to stop them. obama presents nothing except his word and a black face. This isn't Chicago where he gets to pout racism and get what he wants.
