Lately I haven't been watching the large and visible stories, I've been examining and researching for the hordes of little stories like this one. These stories are much more important than you think.

Instead, the Salisbury resident said she and others on her tour bus witnessed an ugly spectacle that made her embarrassed, angry and heartbroken for her country.

Vaillancourt was one of thousands of people who found themselves in a national park as the federal government shutdown went into effect on Oct. 1. For many hours her tour group, which included senior citizen visitors from Japan, Australia, Canada and the United States, were locked in a Yellowstone National Park hotel under armed guard.

The tourists were treated harshly by armed park employees, she said, so much so that some of the foreign tourists with limited English skills thought they were under arrest.

You really want to give these criminal control freaks your guns?

This might be the start of it. How long before obama shuts down the interstate highway system? Or something else to increase the pain on the public. He's angling for the last act.

It's not even difficult to connect the dots anymore. That's why I haven't been as active on the message board/blogs/etc. There are enough people who are awake and aware in real life now. The rest of you can remain asleep if you so wish. Delude yourselves, you'll need it.

The government shutdown could end immediately if the House passed a temporary spending measure, already approved by the Senate, with no extraneous policies or strings...

This is on the House, and the American people know it.

So the house sending piecemeal funding for things and the senate and president rejecting them is the house's fault too, right?
