President Trump has rolled back the Obama-era policy of denying police departments surplus military equipment. How is that not helping them?
Having a gun doesn't necessarily mean you're going to kill anyone. The majority of law-enforcement officers are killed by accidents, not firearms. There are federal, state, and local laws which were enacted to prevent criminals from accessing firearms. Are you saying that laws are ineffective? If so, how would passing redundant laws be effective?
Yes our gun laws are extremely weak. Even angry children can get guns for murder.
