Oh goody, tens of thousands in Kentucky to lose their health care. Thanks GOP!

If even one person goes into debt because of sickness then the whole system needs a complete overhaul. If obamacare doesn't work then come up with a system so that all people have access to the same level of care despite their ability to pay. Anything less is anti life which makes a lot of hypocritical jerks.

The number of uninsured Kentuckians dropped from 14.3 percent in 2013 to 8.5 percent in 2014, according to census data released last month. That's the biggest drop in the rate of uninsured for any state. Meanwhile, Kentucky's health insurance market for individuals and small businesses is its most robust in years.

That's what I like to see. The GOP leadership screwing over their base. And just in time for the presidential elections. Thanks GOP! See ya in 2016!
Quit whinging. I can find partisan links too.

"Basically, ObamaCare is nothing more than a massive tax increase disguised as insurance; a massive financial boon to the same big insurance companies Democrats have demonized for years; a massive redistribution of wealth that primarily soaks the middle class while diminishing their quality of health care."

Stupid is as stupid votes, you pulled the lever for Hope and Change, the fundamental transformation of America, the lower'er of oceans and healer of the planet, and he and Nancy Pelosi, and Harry Reid , behind closed doors, have now taken away the RIGHT of people to choose whether to have healthcare or not. So with Obummer care collapsing all around(the plan of the liberals all along) dupshits like you just go and blame the GOP, who did nothing to stop the trainwreck, and did nothing to stop Obama from fulfilling his dream of control. Jonathan Gruber is correct for what he called you liberals. Obfuscatedcare
Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber said Obamacare only passed due to the "stupidity" of the LIBERAL American voter and a lack of "transparency," and video footage of his remarks was deleted from the Internet in an attempt to hide it.

Obamacare is not collapsing, it's working well in KY.

So what are you going to tell all these people when you pull their insurance?
The Far Right will find a way to say GOP leadership did the right thing, somehow.

Good going, rdean!

Baloney. What is the argument for that idiotic claim?

That's a goal that can never be attained. Of course, that's exactly what the left intends. They will have a reason to expand government forever.

That they can keep their insurance if they like it?

The lie worked for Obama after all
Obama didn't take away anyone's insurance, and neither did ObamaCare. Private insurers did that.

Of course, you'll continue to lie.

Insurers cancelled existing policies because they did not comply with Obamacare requirements.....
So it was Obamacare that forced the cancellations....

It really is that simple...

They keep recycling all the lies used to defend Obamacare even though they were exposed 5 years ago.

Exactly what I was thinking.

Especially now that the issue of subsidies for insurance policies purchased through the federal exchange has been settled.
I dislike the Medicaid expansion, and it's merely a step to single payor (and higher taxes like Britain), but the gop opposition to insurance exchanges mystifies me, because essentially it was a gop innovation. And, Miss's insurance commissioner TRIED to set one up even after Miss chose not to expand medicaid, but was told not to by the TP governor and legislator.

Can you say unnecessary tax payer expense? We already foot the bill for the fed exchange, no need for duplicative services.
Well that was NOT the argument prior to the SC decision in Burwell, so you're engaging in revisionist argument there.

I'm sorry, I was under the impression that we were talking about things yesterdays election had an effect on. Were you trying to deflect to something that didn't?
Stop the bulshite tex. The posts were about how Texas' new governor was going to propose nothing that would make a difference. You chimed in that he was going to save the state money on getting rid of the exchange that gop states eschewed to save money, but I called you on that being a fallacy because the states eschewed the exchanges in an effort to avoid obamacare entirely, and now you come back and say 'let's stick to the election,' when YOU were the fellow who attempted to hijack the thread in the first place.
OUT

Really, the OP is about KY, you brought up MS and the SC, no one is talking about TX. Don't know what you're smoking but you better back away from the bowl.

For our country to have a decent health care system just means pay now or pay later. The Republicans keep choosing to pay nothing so I assure you that is why we will all pay later, not just the children. That is SUCH a tired talking point intended only to scare stupid shagwits like yourself.

Why does not paying for your healthcare now mean I will have to pay for it later? It's actually the other way around, adopting socialist healthcare now means we will pay more now and also pay more later and in addition we will saddle our children with an incredible burden.

Socialism has never worked, and it never will. The theory that government can provide a service cheaper and more efficiently than a private company doesn't pass the laugh test.

Bullshit. Nothing in ObamaCare compelled insurers to eliminate policies rather than modify them.

But you'll continue to lie.
A policy is a lawful contract dumbfuck. Do you know what that means when both parties agree to the terms?
Again, bullshit. Every time Citibank or CapitalOne changes the terms of their credit cards they send you a notice. You can either accept those new terms, or cancel your card yourself.

They don't cancel your card, then make you re-apply for a new one.

Just admit defeat and save yourself further slapdowns.

FAIL

They (cc companies) aren't required to change the terms of the agreement by a new OBAMA law. You can spin all you want but you'll still lose this argument.

I have not an ounce of sympathy for people who vote against their own interests.

Why all the hate for your fellow liberals?
in Kentucky? What "fellow Liberals"?

Liberals everywhere vote against their own interests.
You're a fucking idiot. I'm only temporarily humoring you by responding, but that will end soon.

Please, don't do me any favors.
Fine with me. Welcome to my Ignore/Retard List.

That's pretty damn lame.

I'm kind of laughing at the people of Kentucky right now. What can I really say?

I guess it's "Good luck with that, suckers.
They also basically voted to become a right to work state, while the only thing ensuring a living wage for coal miners is the coal miners union.

Idiots.
It's their discussion dumba$$
The federal government knows nothing of reality...

Every change was an add-on. So they just had to amend any given policy to say:

* You may keep your child on this policy until they reach 26 years old.

* We may not cancel this policy due to a pre-existing condition.

Etc., etc., yada, yada, yada.
