Oh goody, tens of thousands in Kentucky to lose their health care. Thanks GOP!

I'm kind of laughing at the people of Kentucky right now. What can I really say?

I guess it's "Good luck with that, suckers.
They also basically voted to become a right to work state, while the only thing ensuring a living wage for coal miners is the coal miners union.

Idiots.

Dumbasses don't even know what's best for them! They should let you decide for them.
They should let their best interests decide for them, instead of the propaganda arm of the RNC.

The number of uninsured Kentuckians dropped from 14.3 percent in 2013 to 8.5 percent in 2014, according to census data released last month. That's the biggest drop in the rate of uninsured for any state. Meanwhile, Kentucky's health insurance market for individuals and small businesses is its most robust in years.

The wealthy businessman has pledged to shutdown the state's healthcare exchange and he's also expressed concerns about the expansion of Medicaid in Kentucky under the Affordable Care Act.

That's what I like to see. The GOP leadership screwing over their base. And just in time for the presidential elections. Thanks GOP! See ya in 2016!

Just as long as it matches what you think is best for them, right?

Why all the hate for your fellow liberals?
in Kentucky? What "fellow Liberals"?

Liberals everywhere vote against their own interests.
You're a fucking idiot. I'm only temporarily humoring you by responding, but that will end soon.

Please, don't do me any favors.
Fine with me. Welcome to my Ignore/Retard List.

You mean the list of people who pawned you.

Having such a list is proof that you're a coward.

Only a stupid turd like you could cheer the prospect of saddling your children and grand children with crushing debt that they'll have to repay by working like galley slaves their entire lives.

Good going, rdean!

For our country to have a decent health care system just means pay now or pay later. The Republicans keep choosing to pay nothing so I assure you that is why we will all pay later, not just the children. That is SUCH a tired talking point intended only to scare stupid shagwits like yourself.

NO the proof that is a false statement comes from THIS STUDY!!!

http://www.jacksonhealthcare.com/media/8968/defensivemedicine_ebook_final.pdf

Proof is 90% of physicians surveyed say they order $850 billion a year in wasted duplicate tests, referrals all out of FEAR of being SUED!

--- Emergency medicine, primary care, and OB/GYN physicians are most likely to practice defensive medicine.
--- 79 to 83% of surgeons and OB/GYNs have been named in lawsuits.

BUT HERE IS THE PROOF!!!
"Physicians contracted by the federal government practice significantly less defensive medicine as they are protected against lawsuits by the 1946 Federal Tort Claims Act.
-- BUT........Only 48% practice defensive medicine compared to 92% of non-government physicians.
Consider that fact that of the physicians interviewed 52% DID NOT practice defensive medicine!
Who were they? Doctors contracted by federal government!
WHY did these doctors NOT practice "defensive medicine"??? 1946 Tort reform!

So if a doctor that is contracted by the Federal government can not be sued, GUESS WHAT?
THEY DON"T order duplicate tests, referrals to specialists! They have NO fear of being SUED!

Now the insurance companies truly don't care and 90% of medical lawsuits are settled OUT OF COURT because the insurance companies just raise the premiums!
Over 90% of medical malpractice cases are settled out of court.
It's easy to understand why: money. The average court settlement is about $425,000; the average jury award tops $1 million.[3]
Most of the time, it's a lot cheaper to settle.
Medscape: Medscape Access

SO why not have tort reform as was done in 1946 and reduce that $850 billion that is needlessly spent?
Now most of you don't know it I'm sure but health insurance companies must file requests for rate hikes with the states they sell in.
They HAVE to prove the reason for the hikes!
BUT If there is TORT reform, doctors won't submit $850 billion in claims for defensive medicine!
Insurance companies can't raise premiums if their claim payments go down. That is a FACT!
Insurance premiums decline. More people can afford health insurance AND ALL without government intervening any more then they do now, ..i.e.
the 1946 Federal Tort Claims ACT expanded to cover all NON-federal contracted physicians.
The $850 billion will decrease!
And to make sure it does TAX the lawyers as Obama did tanning salons in ACA 10%!
10% of the $270 billion lawyers make would pay the premium for all 4 million truly uninsured that want and need health insurance!

That certainly wasn't my point. It's just that people have different priorities and different values. Some of them (sometimes, in some places, a majority of them!) don't see government as the solution to all our problems. That might irk you, but simply assuming they are idiots is rather ironic on your part.

The fine is getting serious. No more freeloaders or bankruptcies and losing everything, dupe. Get your affordable coverage, free tests, and stop being a brainwashed fool.

Free? Nothing is free you moron. We taxpayers will foot the bills for every asshole in America who can't afford to take care of themselves.

If that's a winner for you then you someone who's being subsidized by we the taxpayer. Of course you like it because someone else is paying YOUR bills.

You. Are. An. Idiot.

"The ACA is an unmitigated disaster that's been foisted on the American taxpayers by a bunch of fucking idiots." What a crybaby and false statement.

Tell me idiot. Who do you think is paying for all those who can't pay for themselves??

Who do you think is paying for all those on Medicaide??

Who do you think is subsidizing all those folks on Medicaide??

And? The program is legal, moral, and ratified by a presidential election and two SCOTUS opinions. The health insurance companies are for it now. The health inflation cost curve, though still too high, is at all time lows compared to the health insurance industry figures of the past. The non-insured have been cut by one-third in three years. It is a success. The reason that it is not more of a success is that many states do not expand medicaid programs for the poor. For shame.

If even one person goes into debt because of sickness then the whole system needs a complete overhaul. If obamacare doesn't work then come up with a system so that all people have access to the same level of care despite their ability to pay. Anything less is anti life which makes a lot of hypocritical jerks.
What if a woman didn't want Health Insurance? At one time that woman HAD a CHOICE, not to have to buy it. Today it is mandatory that she be covered, or she has to pay a FINE and the IRS will take money from her tax return, if she is working. You libtards should go look at the old USSR and how well Central Government Planning went, the problem with you, is that you think the next guy that comes in liberal, will do a better job. He has , he has made the RICH, RICHER and the most in poverty ever in the history of the U.S.A. By the end of his 2nd term, you can bet there will be even more, it is the liberal way to make everyone equal, equally poor and equally miserable.

The FED Janet Yellow has said that there is no inflation, how can there be a health inflation cost curve?

This is what happens when you get people addicted to government programs.
Just like the OP, when a program ends they have this feeling of entitlement, and feel like something is being taken away from them.
This is why programs like Obamacare are so dangerous, once implemented people go to sleep, and then expect the government to take care of it all.
Just look at places like Greece, people now riot in the streets when government programs end. We will be going down that same road if we continue to create the nanny state.

For shame my ass.

Those Fed dollars will run out.

The Fed won't continue to fund that POS and then the States will have to pick up the tab. They will raise taxes to do so. You are an idiot if you think the taxpayers in those states will applaud that bullshit.

Yep, for shame. The $$ will not run out, but if they do, then states will have to revise the program if they keep it. The taxpayers will hammer the politicians into doing the right thing.

Oh and according to you that right thing is we taxpayers paying the bills for every freeloader in America.

And yes. The Fed's Medicaid program will cease.

I'm sure the taxpayers in those States that took the tax dollars will be less than pleased to see their taxes going up to take care of freeloaders.

The right thing my ass.
