Oh, Red States...

So I read the article for some reason thinking it is related to the OP's title.

It's about this one incident, and not about "red state" gun or violence statistics like the OP is trying to imply.

I give this thread 4 Pinochios.

You might want to compare apples to apples instead of apples to oranges.

Violent crime isn't just gun violence.

Here's the top ten states with the most gun violence. All but one are red states the other one is a purple state:

The States With The Most Gun Violence: 24/7 Wall St.

10 South Carolina
9 New Mexico
8 Alabama
7 Arkansas
6 Montana
5 Oklahoma
4 Wyoming
3 Alaska
2 Mississippi
1 Louisiana

And here's another fact you gun nuts ignore:

According to Roman, “The overwhelming trend is that strong gun law states have seen dramatic declines in violence. Weak gun law states have not seen the same decline.” While stricter gun laws lead to less violence, Roman noted, this relationship is not exactly straightforward, because people may purchase a gun in one state and bring it into another. “As long as there are weak gun law states, even strong gun law states will see gun violence.”

According to one guy, and he won't release his source data. Gee, where does it say that that's OK in the scientific method.

Authorities said the son was complaining he got a fishing rod for Christmas, while his friends received cars and trucks.
That’s when the dad pulled out a baseball bat and hit him in back of the head, the sheriff’s department said.
The father’s 14-year-old son then intervened in an attempt to stop the altercation.
The father then got a hold of a BB gun, while his 14-year-old grabbed a shotgun.
The youngest teen then shot his father near the eye with the shotgun, according to Sheriff Omar Lucio.

Is it a freaking post from ISIS? Aren't the "precious institutions" the same in the "red states" as the "blue states"?

Are they?

Dad was a psychotic nut, attacked his son with a baseball bat, and got shot for it. And the problem is......................? (Well, aside from the fact he survived.)

No, you refuted nothing and do not even know which state I was referring to. Try again..
