I remember they had a playground at the drive in theater near my home...before and in between movies we kids all ran down under the screen and played our asses off ...I got trampled under by kids under this darn thing.....

I didn't have playgrounds like those when I was growing up.

But we had amazing huge, green, gorgeous parks and beautiful little quaint old fashioned plazas ..... with some swings, yes....
