Domestic producers are cutting production because their production costs are above the price they can sell product at.

Something I tried to explain to you ineducable people years ago.

I've always understood that. And so have the Saudis. They're in the process of driving American oil producers out of business. And Hussein is helping them do it. It's a real shame, because energy independence was in reach.
