This has been on my bucket list for years and I've been researching building a firearm from scratch for awhile now... break barrels and black powder... but I ran across this today and couldn't help but order the plans...

Kind of a cool concept for a single shot 22 pistol.

I can spend $12 on fast food for one meal... So even if it sucks I'm not going to cry too loud.

Do you think it's wise to say anything like that on the Internet?

you might as well post an invitation to the Deep State to come and get you

Building a homemade firearm is completely legal. Plenty of videos on YouTube of homemade firearms.

Besides, I'm a dangerous self sufficient veteran constitutionalist with firearms... so I'm sure I'm already on a list. :wink_2:

These are the single shots they are building in India and Pakistan.

Couldn't find plans... yet...but soon...

Couldn't have the 12 gauge...but still... That's pretty good craftsmanship for basement built firearms.

I'm pretty sure those are smooth bore... which would not be legal here... but I imagine one could work around that by using barrel liner.

Build the 12 gauge as a black powder like the American Arms Diablo.

Ah...from Mark Serbu.
That guy makes some pretty cool firearms.
He's the guy that built the 50 cal that blew up in Kentucky Ballistics face.
Although it wasn't the gun that was at fault it was a slap round he bought that was overcharged.
He actually blew up several different 50 cals using overcharged rounds.
Of course he tied a string to the trigger and hid behind his truck this time around.

It messed him up pretty bad in fact it damn near killed him.

I remember that. Stuck his thumb in his neck to staunch the bleeding.

Didn't know he was blowing up more 50 cals...wasn't one enough?

Overcharged reload if I remember correctly...or was it factory?

He bought it from an individual.
He was just proving that it wasnt the guns fault.

Should have put this thread in hobbies.

If a mod reads this maybe they will be kind enough to move it for me.

Me either. That was always a stumbling block for me... but that there I can do.

Can't imagine doing a rifle barrel that way though...

That what I was thinking.
You can build your own rifling tool with a hydraulic cylinder a welder and of course some steel.
Here's one video. If you do a search on youtube there are several more of them.

It's completely legal to build your own title 1 firearm. (ATF cfr's detail it) disconnector, single shot, closed bolt, proper lengths, rifled etc.
