Palestinian Authority's Double Standards on Prisoners

The daily Al-Quds al-Arabi recently revealed that dozens of Palestinians have been held in Kuwaiti prisons since 1991. The families of these prisoners do not know anything about their conditions. The Palestinian Authority ambassador to Kuwait, Rami Tahboub, refused to comment on the plight of the prisoners there. Reached by phone, the ambassador first said he was busy with a meeting. He later stopped answering the phone.

As far as the Palestinian Authority leadership is concerned, the only "heroes" are those prisoners who are held in Israel. For the Palestinian Authority, Palestinians who are being tortured and killed in Arab prisons are not worth even a statement.

The PA is as corrupt as the Likud Party.

Gosh, I thought Mr. Long Beach was going to announce to us that he was going to visit all these Palestinian prisoners who are being held elsewhere and commiserate with them with regerd to their situation.

I particularly enjoyed this quote from your link.

While the Palestinian Authority continues to demand the release of Palestinians from Israeli jails, it has long been ignoring the fact that thousands of Palestinians are languishing in prisons in several Arab countries.

The so-called “Palestinians” are despised by their islamist brethern.

Sure, Arabs/moslems will offer the expected and scripted whining and seething about the Jooooo oppressors but it’s clear that neighboring islamist nations want no part of the financial burden that is attached to the Pal-arab welfare state.

The Arab/Moslem institutionalized hatred of Jooooos that is embraced by “Palestinians” is encouraged and supported by manipulative arabs who use the 'plight' of the Palestinians they spurned from their own nations and lands many, many times as fodder to further their own agendas. The institution of insensate Joooooo hatred (which is a function of moslem orthodoxy), was furthered by other Arabs who care less about Palestinians vs. what the exploitation of the Pals could mean for their own political and financial positions.

I must say being new to this topic, I never realized there was a problem between Palestinians and other Muslims. I remember the Shia and Sunni in Iraq. I wonder just how dysfunctional Muslim groups toward each other?

At first I felt the United States should help out the rebels against the dictator. When the British and American people said they did not want involvement, I had to rethink. Yes, I feel for the 120,000 Syrians who have lost their lives. At the same time, I wonder. If we gave Syrian rebels guns, how many of them would be pointed at the United States in the name of holy war five years from now.

Truth is Muslims have been killing each other for hundreds of years, why should we risk any American lives for a people who worship from the Qur'an with 164 passages promoting the destruction of the West?

This is not an American problem, and we should not risk an American lives. And, why should the American taxpayer pick up the tab for a group of people that will turn on us in a Jihad moment?

Ask yourself what you would do five years from now if these Syrian rebels were walking
up your front lawn carrying weapons your tax dollars purchased. Food for thought.

And don't forget about the Arabs in Israeli prisons who are overweight because the Israelis actually feed them.
