Panetta On Oreilly

Did Panetta say that Obama was incapable of leading? Or did he flatly deny that accusation when the host tried to put those words into his mouth?

One thing we can say is OBABBLE is consistent. We rescue people on the mountain and then let them die in Kobani.. BSaki says Kobani is not a priority.

When even Leon Panetta criticizes Hussein Obola..... then you really know something is terribly wrong.

Not that we didn't know that before ....but hearing it straight from Panetta's lips confirms all our fears.

This is the Twilight of America....Nero plays golf....the country burns.

Almost as much fun as Colin Powell voting for Obama.

Admiral Kirby is saying that ISIS ideology must be defeated...this guy is a horses ass. Don't count on him resigning any time soon.

Here's Panetta as late as June 2012, well after we left, still supporting the withdrawal from Iraq, and insisting that Iraq was safe and secure on its own:

"Our military mission in Iraq has ended and established -- established an Iraq that can secure and govern itself."

Defense.gov Secretary of Defense Speech Shangri-La Security Dialogue

It's a shame none of the half-assed 'journalists' who are interviewing him are confronting him with statements like the above.
So...he is as full of shit as his boss...who knew?

The RWnuts are portraying him as some sort of genius.

Hope you didn't miss it. Panetta is a stand up guy. O'Reilly pressed him hard. Krauthammers analysis was spot on and devastating. You've herad it all before...but it's good to hear from the players first hand.

Check your local listings....this interview will be analyzed to death.

"Panetta confides that he thought Obama was wrong on some key decisions, just as Gates and Clinton did in their memoirs. Which makes this reader ask: Why did these officials continue to serve a president with whose policies they often seemed to disagree?"

Book review Leon Panetta s Worthy Fights - The Washington Post

Panetta is not off the hook. He knew Obama was off the mark yet he continued to further Obama's policies.
You don't resign over every policy difference. If that were the case no official would serve more than a week or two.

Keep in mind, everyone, Rabbi supported the Iraq pullout and credited it to Bush.
Yes, and as I write over and over, provided there was a stay behind presence to insure stability. Which Obama flubbed. And everyone knew it. And that's what Panetta is saying.

WHo is doing that? No, we are portraying him as a man who is telling the truth. Something you really dont know about.

The carbonater remembers when Bubba said "Saddam has WMD" also. Bubba was right.

Don't lie.

He's not telling the truth. That's the point. He's claiming he was against the pullout. I just posted him defending it 6 months after it happened.

No, he's only claiming he knew better. He's a fraud and a liar one way or another.

Watch the efforts here to demonize Panetta for going off the reservation.

Actually, he is staying on the reservation, to use your idiotic metaphor.

He made his fortune off war profiteering. He has always been against leaving Iraq, even though Bush is the one who made the agreement and Iraq wanted us to leave.

He wants boots on the ground because it makes him money.

How does it make him money?

And if you need more,

here's Panetta, in Feb. 2013, over a year after the withdrawal, STILL praising it:

"We're bringing, as the President said, more than a decade of war to a responsible end -- ending the war in Iraq, giving the Iraqi people a chance to secure and govern themselves."

You Obama haters have bet your money on the wrong horse's ass once again. Panetta is a fraud.

Panetta tried to be diplomatic with his answers. It was like pulling teeth to get the unvarnished truth out of him. I think he's afraid of the phone calls he knows he'll be getting. The Obama folks can be pretty horrible to their critics. Panetta showed a spinlessness that made me uncomfortable. He knew that Obama has been a disaster, but wasn't willing to fully admit it. It gives the Whitehouse just enough wiggle room to say it was all lies.

Those are the same words OBABBLE spoke...so you are finally admitting he is a fraud. Thank you!
