While speaking to Kelly, Nunes said he wants to know “how many people actually carried a hammer, broke windows, or aided and abetted those people that destroyed federal property?”
He also asked Democrats, “Why won’t you show us the videotapes?” adding that “Republicans have yet to see the videotapes of what happened on January 6. Why are they not showing us the videotapes and why don’t we know who broke the windows and damaged public property?”
He continued on saying that he is in favor of those who broke windows and vandalized federal property being punished and going to jail however the majority of people sitting in jail don’t belong there and really didn’t commit any crimes.
He further contended that there are many people sitting in jail who “are having their due process rights violated. I talked to a lot of people who said, ‘Hey, we didn’t even know we couldn’t be in the Capitol.’”

What has happened to the GOP. Opposing a bipartisan commission into the Jan 6 insurrection, an attack on ALL of us, is an act of cowardice, and it’s decidedly UN-American. When democracy is violently challenged, BOTH parties should want to know why and how. Shame on Republicans for deciding not to, just in service of one guy. (Who lost them the WH, House and Senate, btw.)

Prosecutors go after criminals like Trump every single day. Haven't figured that out yet, right?They've been going after Trump even before he took office. Go on youtube and look at all the Westerners who are living in China, posting videos and suggesting that they are better off there than in their home country It's astounding.
