Pelosi: Enforcing Immigration Law Is Similar To Interment Of Japanese

This woman is flat out a traitor to this country and the principles it was founded on. She is encouraging immigration laws not to be enforced because in her mind, it is wrong to deport wetbacks [sic] who violated this nations laws. As far a the Jap [sic] comparison, Roosevelt did the right thing in putting them in internment camps. They couldn't be trusted after their sneek [sic] attack at Pearl Harbor while their ambassadors negotiated for peace. We just couldn't take any chances with them.

YOU are a racist piece of shit.
What is wrong with being proud of your race?

Unkotare is right. McGarret is a racist.

That doesn't change the fact that Pelousy is a filthy creep.

However, McGarrett would do well to learn that there IS a difference between being "proud" of your "race," for whatever reason you think you should take "pride" in such things (on the one hand), and being a racist piece of shit (on the other hand).

It's idiotic to be "proud"of a false concept. Regardless, nothing in your latest display of cowardice and idiocy had anything to do with "being proud of your race," asshole.

And what a surprise that McGutless would try to defend that scumbag FDR's concentration camps while at the same time pretending to be a conservative.

As long as we're deporting people, un-American shits like him and Pelosi should be on the first bus out.

Hummmmm

A Nevada rancher has his cattle confiscated for 'illegal' grazing, while "illegal" immigrants welcome with no penalty. Strange how that works... We either enforce our laws or ignore them, they are not applied evenly. This creates many issues in the US in my opinion.

Will Hayes, with ICE, says, "Las Vegas is acting as a transit point for many illegal and smuggled aliens."...Hayes knows illegals come to Las Vegas on I-15 from Los Angeles, on US-93 from Phoenix, and in some cases, right through McCarran Airport. He also knows it's unlikely his agents will arrest those illegals after they arrive here....Individual illegals are no longer the priority. Hayes tells Eyewitness News

And the illegals are costing us more in lives and treasure than those cattle ever will, go figure.

And what a surprise that McGutless would try to defend that scumbag FDR's concentration camps.

The Japs had to be rounded up. We couldn't take a chance on them sabotaging national security interests here in the states, especially after they had just bombed Pearl Harbor. It was the common sense thing to do and the right thing to do.

Hmm. Perhaps she should brush up on her history. The internment of the Japanese happened under a Democrat's watch. Franklin D. Roosevelt interned over 110,000 Japanese Americans after the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941, via Executive Order 9066. So, if anything she should keep her mouth shut.

The Canadians also put their Japanese citizens into internment camps.

Not a pretty historical fact. But it was a different day and age. And we WERE at war.

The word is "Japanese," you scumbag. More to the point, the proper term for many, many of the innocents thrown into FDR's concentration camps is "AMERICAN," a term that most certainly does NOT apply to YOU.

Which is why I asked if Pelosi's statement was a confirmation that we ARE at war with Mexico and it's Drug Cartels/Drug Lords...

It should be noted that a number of German and Italian immigrants were locked up on the East coast. Another unforgivable crime perpetrated by the scumbag FDR. Interestingly, they were all non-citizens and a tiny, tiny fraction of the number of Japanese immigrants and Japanese-Americans (US citizens) thrown into FDR's concentration camps out West despite the fact that the number of German and Italian Americans was vaaaaaastly larger and that German and Italian immigrants - unlike the Japanese Americans - had actually been caught and prosecuted for spying, treason, and attempted sabotage.

It tends to cloud your judgement while dealing with people. Grow beyond it...and judge the individual on an individual HUMAN level with RACE never factoring in.

Actually, she suffers from dementia. Happens with lots of old people. McCain suffers from the same thing. The politicians say what ever their staff tells them to say. The same staff that has sweet side deals with lobbyists and campaign contributors. And the gravy train rolls on....for the staffers.

I actually couldn't agree more (especially with the examples of Pelosi and McCain). My biggest difference with the assessment would be that Pelosi has been a complete and utter idiot from birth.

The scariest part of all of this is that I am nearly as old as these two old farts.... :D

It had all to do with,,,racism against Asians, which was quite common then.....

Except you're not running a fish cannery business that likes low wage earners....when the min. wage was passed last, for some reason her canning business did not follow the new rules, but then again it's an offshore operation....

It should also be noted that a number of the US CITIZENS of Japanese descent who were thrown into FDR's concentration camps still volunteered - from within the concentration camps themselves - to serve their country. They went on to serve in what they would make the most highly decorated unit in US military history, incurring an astonishing casualty rate in the process.

A group of boys from Texas learned first hand just what courageous and loyal AMERICANS they were:

Go For Broke National Education Center - Preserving the Legacy of the Japanese American Veterans of World War II

McGutless the non-American should watch this vid, but he won't.

Plenty of AMERICANS of Chinese or Korean descent living on the West coast learned that the hard way as well.

Look, there's one thing you need to understand about America "back then". America was trying DESPERATELY to stay out of the war. Japan did a dastardly thing. THEY attacked us WHILE negotiating for peace. It was as underhanded a thing to do as ANY nation has ever done. So, yeah, the hatred ran high.

I believe FDR interred Japanese-Americans as much for THEIR safety as he did for National Security reasons. Same with the German-Americans and the Italian-Americans.

I don't agree with his reasoning, but under the circumstances, I can empathize with BOTH sides. Would it happen today? Probably not, but who knows. Remember this, we were a nation of fighters then. Not so much any longer.

Now, if this offends your sensibilities, understand this..I was born Black to a Mother and Father who had relatives that were brought here as slaves. Here's the bottom line: you want to live in the past, that's fine. Understand YOUR history before you condemn those who remember theirs.
