Clearly the FBI dropped the ball here. There was plenty of warning about what was to happen and they did NOTHING.

The question is why?

Was it incompetence? Was it some weird sense that Americans wouldn’t do something like this (remember we had the Oklahoma bombing OF an FBI BUILDING not so long ago), or did the agents who were tasked to prevent something like this approve of it and let it happen?

It could have been any but my money is on the latter
