PLO admits there is no such thing as a Palestinian

PLO leader: There is no Palestinian nation; it is an invention to destroy Israel! :: Reader comments at Daniel Pipes

The Palestinian cause is just an excuse for Arabs to use to destroy Israel as admitted by the PLO.

The Arabs living on the West Bank weren't demanding independence when they were part of Jordan prior to 1967.

That's proof enough there that there is no such thing as a Palestinian.
Since when did you become pro Israel? LOL

My father is a holocaust survivor.

I've always been pro Israel.

That is not true. The Palestinians fought the occupation all through the '50s and '60s.

No they didn't.

The PLO didn't even exist until 1966.

So? Irrelevant.

In 1952, when 'fedayeen' terrorist border incursions reached their height, there were about 3,000 incidents of cross-border violence,...

Which Came First- Terrorism or Occupation-Major Arab Terrorist Attacks against Israelis Prior to the 1967 Six-Day War

They were fighting against the 1948 occupation of Palestine.

Arabs tried to kill Jews as early as Hebron in 1929. However they never considered themselves Palestinians until the 1960's when their Egyptian born and raised terrorist leader Yasser Arafat decided to hijack the name. Prior to that calling an Arab a Palestinian would be insulting because it meant Jew.

I don't think "Palestinians", as a distinct Arab group, really existed until recently. But now they think of themselves as a dinstinct group, and a solution will have to be found.

More like a skunk. A made up people with false claims to a land, with leaders that managed to brainwash and deceive millions of Arabs / Muslims into thinking they are telling the truth.

"There are no differences between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. We are all part of one nation. It is only for political reasons that we carefully underline our Palestinian identity... yes, the existence of a separate Palestinian identity serves only tactical purposes. The founding of a Palestinian state is a new tool in the continuing battle against Israel".

et al,

This entire thread is too funny.

What we call them is unimportant. We got'em.

Izz ad-Din Abd al-Qadar ibn Mustafa ibn Yusuf ibn Muhammad al-Qassam, the father of modern Palestinian Terrorism. Namesake for the:

  • al-Qassam Brigades, military wing of the Palestinian Islamist (Sunni) political organisation Hamas, of the Islamic Resistance.
  • Qassam Rocket

Most Respectfully,

It does make a difference when you are making an ancient claim to a land, people, and national identity, as the Arabs / Palestinians are doing. If the Greeks walked around calling themselves "decendents of the ancient Romans and the true owners of Italy". I'm sure there would be more than a few upset Italians out there. LOL

Roudy, et al,

Anyone who takes the ancient claims seriously, needs to step back and regroup.

The ancient claims are, interesting history, but not relevant to sovereign claims. The line of sovereignty is quite clearly established for more than a millenium. And it wasn't Arab, Palestinian, or whatever they are.

They might be upset, but only after they finished laughing. Then they would make you a deal you couldn't refuse.

By noon, you're on your way home, sleep'en with the fishes; if not bait on a hook.

Like you said it's neither here nor there. Israel is a strong, prosperous democratic nation and one of the most advanced militaries in the world. It is not going anywhere and is able to defend itself quite well against all threats.

The biggest threat to Israel is the truth.

The truth has always been Israel's short suit.

I guess Tinnie wants us to believe that we actually get the truth from the Arabs. One thing we have to say is that Tinnie is one Arab who tries to tell us the truth about how Arabs like him think when he says that the Israelis are occupying all of Palestine (which in his mind also includes Israel proper).

The truth? Thats the last thing the Palestinians have a reputation for.

Meanwhile, The Emperors in "Palestine" Have no Clothes. LOL.

He gets his truth Arafat or Hamas style: Saying one thing in English to the Western media, and then the exact opposite to the Arabs in Arabic. That's "truth on the rocks, make it a double". Ha ha ha.
