I'm not walking back a damn thing. Evidently no one said a damn thing publicly at the time, otherwise there would be contemporary written records. I haven't seen any such records at this time. Even the yearbook entry shows nothing nefarious, if it is genuine. At this point, that's a big IF. Where's police records, newspaper reports or anything, produced at the time, that would substantiate what's being said now?

Run the numbers for me, how many claim actually hearing it at the time? If you note, no one in your paragraph reports actually seeing it with their own eyes, so it's all hearsay. Since there are no contemporary written records, there is nothing to back up your hearsay. That wouldn't even be admissible in a civil court.
