BREAKING: MAGA fans screech for blood after a brave Texas judge grants an emergency abortion allowance to a pregnant woman whose fetus has a fatal diagnosis.

This shouldn't be controversial, but Republicans have completely lost their minds...

Kate Cox, a mother of two in the Dallas area, discovered last month that her fetus has a condition that means it will likely be stillborn or die shortly after being born.

Due to Republican governance, Texas law prohibits abortions with very rare exceptions. Cox and her lawyers sought a temporary restraining order to block the state's draconian abortion bans. Thankfully, they were successful.

"Kate Cox’s life and future fertility are at great risk, and according to her doctor, the medical care that she needs is an abortion," Cox's attorney Molly Duane Duane said at the hearing. She explained that in the last two days, Cox visited the emergency room for a fourth time "for pregnancy symptoms including severe cramps leaking fluid and elevated vital signs."

"Many of Miss Cox’s health risks during this pregnancy will put her life in danger if left untreated, and carrying this pregnancy to term will significantly increase the risks to her future fertility, meaning that she and her husband may not be able to have more children in the future," she added.

Judge Maya Guerra Gamble granted the request.

"The idea that Miss Cox wants desperately to be a parent, and this law might actually cause her to lose that ability is shocking and would be a genuine miscarriage of justice," said Gamble.

Horrifyingly, an attorney representing Texas argued that the request should be denied because Cox supposedly failed to prove that she would suffer "immediate and irreparable injury" without the abortion.

Republicans are really that radical.

Texas Woman Who Sought Sought Permission For Abortion Leaves State For Procedure, Attorney's Say.

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — A pregnant Texas woman who sought court permission for an abortion in an unprecedented challenge to one of the most restrictive bans in the U.S. has left the state to obtain the procedure, her attorneys said Monday.

The announcement came as Kate Cox, 31, was awaiting a ruling from the Texas Supreme Court over whether she could legally obtain an abortion under narrow exceptions to the state’s ban. A judge gave Cox, a mother of two from the Dallas area, permission last week but that decision was put on hold by the state’s all-Republican high court.

Her health is on the line. She’s been in and out of the emergency room and she couldn’t wait any longer, said Nancy Northup, president and CEO of the Center for Reproductive Rights, which was representing Cox.

Good for her. Her fetus is NOT viable and die a very painful death. Not mention that the birth of fetus could put Ms. Cox life in danger and possibly killer. So very pro-life. Kill both mother and baby....so very fucking pro-life.
