Political correctness: how the right invented a phantom enemy

No idea. Who cares?

You do realize that privacy laws protect everyone's academic records?

But privacy laws don't protect Trump from his tax returns? Wow, your hypocrisy reeks, girl

Wow, you're assumptions reek.

Privacy laws protect Trump's tax returns as well.

Doesn't stop people from illegally leaking stuff. And, it doesn't stop people from "demanding" stuff or making up conspiracy theories. It's still protected by law and it's laughable to hear those who claim that Obama had them "specially sealed"

I never said what you said I did, so again, whiff ...

What did I say you said?

Something about Obama sealing something. Is that a reference to his grades? I've never said that or anything like it

Go back and read what I wrote.

Guy, Trump is going to be a party-ending event for you guys.

That's pretty much what you and your ilk were saying after he got nominated. Besides Trump going down in flames, he was going to take the Congress and Senate down with him.

Trump won, we still have a slight majority in the Senate, and the Congress is well in our hands. You on the left have been wrong about Trump since he threw his hat in the ring, and you're wrong about what you predict in the future as well.

They're hoping for the worst.

Lovely.

Yes indeed. The same people that bashed Limbaugh for saying he hoped DumBama would be a failure.

I wonder how many Americans people like that are hoping will suffer.

Meh, collateral damage.

Political correctness: how the right invented a phantom enemy | Moira Weigel

Throughout an erratic campaign, Trump consistently blasted political correctness, blaming it for an extraordinary range of ills and using the phrase to deflect any and every criticism. During the first debate of the Republican primaries, Fox News host Megyn Kelly asked Trump how he would answer the charge that he was “part of the war on women”.

“You’ve called women you don’t like ‘fat pigs,’ ‘dogs,’ ‘slobs,’ and ‘disgusting animals’,” Kelly pointed out. “You once told a contestant on Celebrity Apprentice it would be a pretty picture to see her on her knees …”

“I think the big problem this country has is being politically correct,” Trump answered, to audience applause. “I’ve been challenged by so many people, I don’t frankly have time for total political correctness. And to be honest with you, this country doesn’t have time either.”

Surely PC is another word for good manners ?

This is the most retarded post that I have seen in a good while, congrats!

What next, feminism is for equality between the sexes? These guys swallow anything, that's for sure.

You have a problem with equality between the sexes?

That's pretty much what you and your ilk were saying after he got nominated. Besides Trump going down in flames, he was going to take the Congress and Senate down with him.

YOu mean he lost the popular vote, and lost seats in the Senate and house, but you keep pretending that you won the contest on the merits and not technicalities. ..

Trump won, we still have a slight majority in the Senate, and the Congress is well in our hands. You on the left have been wrong about Trump since he threw his hat in the ring, and you're wrong about what you predict in the future as well.

So, um,who won the world series again?

Oh, that's right. THE CUBBIES!!!!

Anyway, Trumpenfuhrer will hand both houses of Congress to the Dems, when his ineptitude becomes apparent.

I wonder how many Americans people like that are hoping will suffer.

Meh, collateral damage.

Mac, you are the one who thinks it's awesome that Trump, a guy you've said will be a horrible president, got in because it showed those Democrats that we don't need no safe spaces from your dirty jokes!!!!!

I'm a pragmatist. Trump will be an awful president because he's an awful person. Hope isn't a plan.

YOu mean he lost the popular vote, and lost seats in the Senate and house, but you keep pretending that you won the contest on the merits and not technicalities. ..

What technicalities? We've always chosen a President the way we did this time. Lost a few seats? Yes we did. Seats we could afford to lose, sure we did. But don't pretend it was a bloodbath like the last two midterms. We still have the White House, Congress and the Senate, so do better in trying to make us feel bad about it.

The far-right / alt-right has also successfully brainwashed their flock into thinking no news source is reliable, especially one reporting something contrary to their right-wing world view. In our new post-truth America, people can now dismiss any news item they don't like.

Just keep grasping at those ever disappearing straws, you folks are great entertainment. Also keep in mind that the backlash from your regressive BS is just beginning, much of what you think you've accomplished will vanish like a puff of smoke.

Wishful thinking... Trump's already backpeddling on what he promised you inbreds

As long as he stays faithful about the Supreme Court nominees (and the dozens of others around the country) we will be happy. Should the day ever come where people totally forget about Commy Care and elect you Socialists again, there will be the court to restrain your efforts on trying to change this country again.

That isn't brainwashing. It's proven fact.

Of course, we know you leftwing douche bags will never admit it no matter how massive and irrefutable the evidence is. Propaganda doesn't work if people know it's propaganda, and the left will never defang it's most effective weapon against freedom and truth.

And the latest example of this phantom enemy. There is a move to drive a couple off a TV show on HGTV because they don't go to a faghadist approved church. The Gains' show has been very popular for years, now suddenly the faghadist are attempting to paint them as pariahs because faghadist don't like their pastor.

Good job regressives, keep it up, the midterms will be a blast.

The faghadist will not tolerate anyone who doesn't agree with their agenda. That's what "tolerance" is all about: ramming your opinions down everyone's throat.

Guy, here's the thing. After Trump is done wrecking the economy, you are going to see people demanding universal health care like every other civilized country has.

Nothing is "sealed". That's conspiracy theory hokey pokey.

They're treated the same as any one else's academic record.

Or Trump's tax returns.

Really? And just what was DumBama's academic record anyway?

No idea. Who cares?

You do realize that privacy laws protect everyone's academic records?

They also protect your IRS records. I didn't notice you douche bags giving a damn about that.

I already mentioned IRS records. Try to keep up.

In one breath, Tommy bemoans the war on women (and, yes, Trump is a complete cad ). In the next breath, however, he defends absolutely repulsive acts of Islamic violence against women including the rape gangs operating throughout Britain targeting under age British girls. Those who oppose the nature of that are called names.

Where did Tommy defend any of that?

And 'He did something worse" is an excuse a six year old comes up with for his bad behavior.

That's what douche bags like you always say whenever someone exposes your craven hypocrisy.

Guy. The people Said "NO!"

Trump has no legitimacy. (And that's even before we find out for sure the Russians rigged the vote.)
