Colonialism is the reason these shithole countries have roads and trains and electricity and running water. Maybe it's time to beg them to come back.

What I am referring to is the way in which colonialism ended. The colonial powers should have redrawn the national boundaries to reflect the tribal make up of the colony.

Instead they just said to hell with it all and pulled out leaving a mess of tribal conflict.

Yep, it would be like mixing Chinese, Japanese and Koreans in one area and saying "have at it fellas" Or Russians, Germans, and Poles.

One of the more terrible things done after WWII was separating the above Europeans, but it worked on in the long run.

Haiti may be a shithole. But the point is just because someone comes from a shithole country, doesn't make them less worthy of coming to America.

In fact immigrants from "shithole" countries are some of the hardest workers in America and their kids go on to become doctors, engineers and lawyers.

Haiti may be a shithole. But the point is just because someone comes from a shithole country, doesn't make them less worthy of coming to America.

No, it most certainly does. Which is why we need a MERIT system based on the persons credentials, IQ and education, and not merely national origin or race.

There is nothing racist about observing that unskilled labor is not in shortage or high demand in the US, so we do not need to import more of it.
