Why would any city want to host these things? We had it in Boston a few years ago , all the locals fled the city! Too much security , closed roads , etc.. What a hassle .

It's not the "other side" the GOP needs to worry about . They are heading to a brokered convention. You can hold that in space and its still gonna be a mess!

We are a Dem controlled city. It's why we were ranked the poorest city two out of three years a few years back. It's why we led the country in depopulation too.

Yes, we have suburbs that are Republican, but you can't hold a huge convention in a suburb. You need hotels, restaurants, cabs, a whole slew of things that only a city can provide. It will be so overcrowded that people are offering their rental homes for our guests.
