What an individual considers normal doesn't make it normal. A norm is determined by the society. Most men shave, that's normal. Most people are not into whippings and beatings with sex. It is an interesting question.
Virtual/robotic sex is coming sooner than later, early stages are already here..maybe not in my lifetime (51 yo) but certainly in the generation following me. And by virtual/robitic - I mean believable, life-like "robot woman". Limited vocabulary, primarily only sexual come-ons etc. and the ability to interact and correctly interpret advances by the human.
This will be an evolutionary change. Today's youth are already damn near living in a world of their own with their faces stuck in their smart phones literally 10-12 hours a day.
