I cant speak for the religious right as I am not one of them.

But as a conservative with an open mind...I see him as a man that invested in a video store chain who sold videos. Sure, under further scrutiny it was found that they had the "back curtain room", but to be frank and "fair and balanced", I would not have investigated the investment any further than he probably did.

I assume he reviewed the fianncials, the projections and the product base...which was CD's and movies...It was not labeled as a porn shop as it was not a porn shop....it was labeled as a family friendly video store chain.

Sure, as the current frontrunner, the left wants to make it bigger than it is...but such is politics......ruin the credibility of a candidate despite the fact that whatever you may be criticizing him for, you know deep down it was an innocent move on his part.

It appears you like to take something that was innocent and most certainly not intentional, and turn it into an intentional move so you can slander a man that has a different ideology than you.

Perry invested in a chain of family style video stores......if he were aware that some had "the back room", my guess is his ideology would have prevented him from making the investment.

Now, sure...you can say "why didnt he look into it and make sure they didnt have the back room"

I'm glad this information comes out. And if it is accurate we can further evaluate Perry. After all, I wouldn't want the Republicans to elect someone who has major character defects and hasnt been vetted. After all, we can clearly see how that's hurt this nation when the Democrats did that in 2008.
