Since the earth is undoubtably in a cooling period, eventually the AGW croud will begin to explain that our efforts to curb global warming are starting to take effect and we need to do more.

Since the decade ending in 2012 was warmer than the previous decade, when exactly did this "cooling" start?

Depends on who's data you read.

No it doesn't. There has not been a cooling trend in 100 years. It warms, levels off, then warms again starting where the last warming trend left off. You are "reading" the fact that the warming trend has gone from runaway warming to slight warming as "cooling." You have a READING problem.
