Maybe now they don't fully integrate, but many years ago (like my mother's family in 1929) they did. And if they could integrate during those tough depression and world war years, they can integrate now. These immigrants today don't immigrate for 2 reasons >>1st generation immigrants rarely fully integrate. Their children and grandchildren do. It is the same all over the world. My grandmother learned only badly broken english. Her 3 children became a lawyer, a doctor, and a CPA. Between her grandchildren there are 2 PhDās, soon to be a third, and 5 masters degrees, with 2 more working on the undergrad degrees.
