Pretty much!

So FOX sent an intrepid conservative to an Alexandria Ocasio Cortez rally and the conservative ended up getting kind of excited:

‘Fox & Friends’ Falls Face-First Into Ocasio-Cortez ‘Trap’

Kruta told the Fox & Friends hosts that she went to the rally to “see what the fuss was about” and “why the message was resonating.” Asked why voters might be drawn to a Democratic Socialist message, she added, “They talk about things that everybody wants, especially if you’re a parent. They talk about education for your kids, health care for your kids, the things that you want.”

Then Hannity tried to scare his audience and Ocasio Cortez thanked him:

The GOP can keep laughing, or it can start paying attention. Which would be smarter?
.

Sure thing . . .

Millions rued the day they listen to that maniac....well if they'd lived

Whats sad is, he STILL has huge support in russia.

I watched a documentary on him...pure evil

The GOP had better start re-learning how to communicate pretty soon.

Avoiding it and throwing around platitudes isn't going to work.

Sanders tried the same BS in 2016....how did that work out?
He might very well have beaten Trump.

Avoiding real communication won't work forever. The GOP can't just point to Stalin and assume everyone will magically "get it". This will take effort, especially when the economy cycles down.

Ocasio-Cortez is the second coming of Stalin?

And millions of Americans today apparently are just as SNAFU brained.

Isnt all political agendas basically platitudes?
Not all obviously, as there is people that are different.
But this? This is just platitudes as well.
Look at the comments on this thread. The GOP can't just point at this or that and expect people to change their deeply-held opinions.

The party doesn't want to communicate with a growing number of people. Acting like a talk radio host isn't going to cut it for long.

I remember 20-30 years ago when just saying “socialism” was enough to scare a lot of the electorate.

Voters are changing.

Negative, over. But she could be a harebrained precursor.

What I’m getting most from this thread is, “It’s all good stuff, but STALIN.”

As if universal healthcare is the first step to evil.

Good stuff all that...who the fuck pays for it?

Anyone buying her BS needs their head examined

Well let see we can do lots of things like raise the top tax bracket.
The government has a nasty habit of not using the money collected for the programs it says it will enact. More taxes are not the answer nor are some her ideas. Until the government gets overhauled to be more responsible by department of how the funds are distributed we will never be able to collect enough taxes.

And the Right simply isn't equipped to deal with it. Shouting platitudes just ain't gonna be enough any more.
.
That's because people can obviously see that the right doesn't give a frig about paying for stuff.

They blow up the deficit and tank the economy every time they're in power.

Not only is it not enough, people have had enough of them and their BS.

Sadly, not in a good way.
More govt power over the people is regressive.
We should be moving forward.
