The money should go to the people who received the first stimulus.......I second this. To me, the stimulus money should only go to whoever has taken a financial nose dive because of the pandemic matter. If you are making what you always make, why do you need a stimulus anyways?I have no problem with this idea, what so ever. An individual making 50K+ or couple making 100K+ during the pandemic year are not in need of economic stimulation. If they are not making their way in the world at that level, the problem is not economic. It is a money management problem.![]()
Third stimulus checks: Democrats could phase out $1,400 payments at $50,000/year
Current plans would mean $1,400 checks for anyone making less than $50,000 and $2,800 for married couples earning $100,000 or less. Make more than that? You could still see some money…www.wfla.com
"Over the last few days, President Joe Biden has indicated he’s willing to “target” $1,400 stimulus checks to Americans most in need in an effort to find bipartisan ground with Republican lawmakers. According to multiple reports, plans are being drawn up to phase out direct payments at $50,000 per year -- that would mean $1,400 checks for anyone making less than $50,000 and $2,800 for married couples earning $100,000 or less. If an individual was considered the head of house and earning up to $75,000, he or she would also qualify."
So for all of this talk of Biden being a radical socialist progressive dictator; he keeps showing everyone that he is what he has always been; a centrist establishment corporate Democrat who is still trying to push austerity cuts on the middle and working class while doing no such thing to the wealth class.....Progressives in this country have a right to be furious if Biden caves on this for the sake of "bipartisanship" -- because if he does, that would mean Trump's stimulus checks were more progressive than Biden's.
As one progressive strategist said "I find it obscene that a Congress full of millionaires (funded by billionaires) is trying to means test the difference between $50,000 and $75,000 for a life-saving survival check during a pandemic. We need more working people in our government."
God bless you always!!!

The WHOLE ECONOMY TOOK a nose dive and the money being put in the hands of the middle and working class folks stimulates the economy far more than any taxcuts did.....
