Proof Obama is working for the enemy: Gitmo detainee released now leader of AQ in Yemen

OP is clear evidence that we need a Declaration of War passed so that we can deal with enemies domestic as well as foreign.

This is unbelievable. Bush locks them up, Obama releases them and then they take up arms again. God please get this man out of office asap.

Who signed off on the release of the leader of ISIS again?

Someone who answers to Obama.
Eh em... who?

2012? Panetta.
Dubya did. But it's okay he's in exile, so we don't have to talk about him.

The latest CNN/ORC poll tells the story: By a margin of 57 to 40 percent, Americans disapprove of President Obama’s handling of foreign policy. With regard to handling the Islamic State, they disapprove by a remarkable 64 to 33 percent. The same lopsided margin (60 to 38 percent) disapproves of his handling of terrorism and thinks the war in Iraq and Syria is going badly. Sixty-eight percent think we have not been aggressive enough, only 4 percent think we have been too aggressive in our military response and a robust 53 percent favor sending ground troops. Finally, 61 percent of Americans think it is at least somewhat likely we will have a terrorist attack in the next few weeks.

Obama’s perfunctory and vapid speech last night is unlikely to improve matters. We therefore have a public prepared to face up to our threats and a commander in chief who is not. There is, in effect, a consensus of no confidence in the president. A vote of no confidence in Obama

I remember the process we went through on Nixon....that wasn't treason. Are you saying that Obama's actions and inactions constitute treason? If yes, then is a speedier process possible?

You're stuck until the election....if there is one...or something much more dramatic happens. BTW with his state job CA killer could have just as easily chosen a school......

Obama's actions are not treasonous. Yet.

Congress needs to pass a Declaration of War against ISIS.

Where do you see Bush's name, and how do you explain this, from the article?

"In July 2010, Qosi plead guilty to charges of conspiracy and material support for terrorism before a military commission. His plea was part of a deal in which he agreed to cooperate with prosecutors during his remaining time in US custody. Qosi was transferred to his home country of Sudan two years later, in July 2012."

Bush had been out of office for a year and a half when the deal was made.

Wasn't hanging the offense for being a traitor?

We know he's working for the MUSLIMS and so is Hillary Clinton. people need to wake up in this country

One would think this would be a huge story, particularly after San Bernardino, Obama's demands for more Muslims, and Trumps comments but you would be wrong.

This story hurts Big Ears and the D party, so it is reported for one day and forgotten.

The incompetence of government knows no bounds, but we are to believe they can vet Muslims brought here.

yes. it was incompetent to destabilize the middle east by invading Baghdad and deposing saddam Hussein and throwing people in jail without charge or trial. kind of took away the moral high ground from the US on top of everything else.

you probably shouldn't rely on that as a source.

and if he is, don't you think being imprisioned without charges or trial for a decade would make someone hate our guts?

I would not have imprisoned him for a decade.

I'd have buried him long ago.
