True, but there's a huge difference between drag racing and rallying. Mouton in one race, will have driven more than all of the female drag racers have driven, combined.

Don't forget Janet Guthrie back in the day competing & being the 1st woman to qualify at the Indianapolis 500 & Daytona 500! AJ Foyt trying to dissuade the sexism of the sport allowed her to drive/practice in his backup car in '76, but took it away saying, "I just wanted to see if she could drive fast!" What an A-#ole! She did finish at least one Indy-500 race IIRC!
