Protestors at Ark Replica

Well, if a flood didn't happen, where did all these flood myths come from? I don't think atheists have an answer to that question. They usually throw doubt and confusion in every direction, but they never have answers to any of the questions they raise.

there have been ice ages and ice melt many times in the human history. Evidence of water, rivers, cutting through the land and even glaciers changing their path through rocks and creating valleys. Scars on the earth from "water". Even fossils on mountains of fish would add to such ideas. We now know land is pushed up to form peaks like those in the Himalayas as land masses crash together. Early people did not understand geology in the way we do now.

Fish on peaks............. must have been there due to a flood, but we know otherwise thanks to science.

It would of been wiser to
1. Fund education
2. Put the money towards a cure for cancer
3. Feed the homeless
4. Divide the money to educate thousands of homeless in a college education
5. More money for science

There really isn't any good reason to spend money on a fairly tail.
Unless it's your money and you want to??!!
Do you think before you post??

There are a lot of signs. Age of Grand Canyon is too young, the great flood scars in Utah, seashells in the Himalayas, etc etc.

Right on cue. Do you say that about Hollywood? No. About government looking for little green men? No. Obama spending $7 million to go golfing? No. Youre all for people spending money if you believe in it.

When Disney, Santa, and UFO believers start demanding people are denied basic rights based on their fantasies and they start demanding their particular beliefs are taught in schools on equal footing with science, there will be plenty of protests.

He thinks that government has greater authority, wisdom, and claim on how to spend one's wealth, than does the one who has worked to earn it.

I don't believe their is any geological evidence for a global flood. Probably the closes thing to it is after the kt asteroid created the 3 mile high tsunumi 65 million years ago...Of course, I wouldn't call it a flood in the text book sense.
Astronaut James Irwin spent his life after walking on the moon looking for the Ark.

But it's existence or not is not the topic of this thread.

Then why bring him up? Either way, one person alone doesn't represent the entire scientific community.

they are not global floods or evidence of oceans reach as high as the peaks

It's the answer to the OP's question as to why they aren't being protested.

There were 75-100 protestors.
This is about atheists.
Bill Nye visited today, had nothing but good things to say despite his beliefs.

The whole project was an experiment to determine how many people there were local to the project who would waste their
time protesting it--------and how many people would actually
travel by car to complain about what some private person built
on his own property.

Every culture's mythology has a flood myth, so I would be very surprised if a flood did not really happen.

List of flood myths - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

they did not happen at the same time as a global flood.

when it happens to your city ----it seems like the whole world
is underwater

................and somewhere at the same time there are people in a drought

so true----which is why we still have stories about great famines

The Ark replica is denying people's rights?

What a loon.

The people who built it are.

And?
Answer the OP. Why do a hundred people drive all the way out there to protest?
