He ended the school voucher program for Washington inner city blacks. Can anyone, anyone, tell me that welfare has helped the majority IN THE LONG RUN? Yes, people need help when things happen beyond their control. Yes, we should help them get back on their feet. But what we are doing today is not helping but hurting the majority. Clearly when Biden said "they'll but you all in chains" he was clearly stating his white position of superiority.

The victims are missing and the culprits aren’t named. It’s not the “educational establishment” that’s ruining the lives and blocking the opportunities of African American and Hispanic children. The Democrat teacher unions and the Democrat Party that supports them are destroying the lives of African American and Hispanic students whose parents are too poor to put them in private schools – the same private schools where Democrat legislators and union leaders send their own children.

But Republicans are too polite to do that.

This is merely the most obvious atrocity that Democrats are committing against America’s impoverished minorities. Subverting family structures through a misconceived welfare system, encouraging food stamp dependency, providing incentives to bring into this world massive numbers of children who have no prospect of a decent life just to earn a welfare dollar. These are the corrupt fruits of Democratic welfare policies which are spiraling out of control. Republicans criticize these programs as “wasteful.” They need to start attacking them as destructive, as attacks on the human beings who are ensnared by them.

The way for Republicans to show they care about minorities is to defend them against their oppressors and exploiters, which in every major inner city in America without exception are Democrats. Democrats run the welfare and public education systems; they have created the policies, ruin the lives of the recipients of their handouts. It’s time that Republicans started to hold Democrats to account; to put them on the defensive and take away the moral high ground, which they now occupy illegitimately. Government welfare is not just wasteful; it is destructive. The public school system in America’s inner cities is not merely ineffective; it is racist and criminal.

I think the loon thing is blown way out of proportion. It is part and parcel of the what I call the liberal storyline. It is what they do. In one hand they will say that welfare is sucked up by mostly those in blue states. Insinuating that it is Republicans thus white people. Then if welfare reform is even suggested the word racism is spewed. So they play it both ways and apparently a whole lot of people don't notice. The Welfare state we are becoming does not just effect blacks, it effects people of all color. But the liberal left will play the race card every time expressing their white superiority, which of course is the definition of racism. "they will put you all back in chains!!!!" How in the hell do we elect such racists? If a Republican would have made such and asinine statement the NAACP would still be howling and rightfully so. I guess having a black friend in the WH makes up for a lot of latent racism.

There is nothing the Republican party can do about loons, they are what they are. The best they can do is distance themselves. Tell the truth about the party of Lincoln vs the party of slavery. The truth will make us free not the story lines that are ginned up by the MSM. But it won't be easy. Considering any such endeavor will be met by stiff opposition by the liberal MSM. But it is what must be done for the future of the country. That plus sound fiscal policy one that brings jobs back to America and stops the flood of low skill labor taking the jobs Americans can do. We should be doing EVERYTHING we can to promote corporation building in American not China or India.

Personally I think more of blacks then apparently do the liberals. I believe that giving them a fair shot on an even playing field they will be and can be successful as has been shown.

There are two problems with the GOP's loons: First, they're just loud. They're stuck in absolutist mode and really want to be heard. Second, the media will always, always jump all over every ill-advised, lame and absolutist thing these people say because it fits the media's goals. So the least the GOP should do is sit down with these people and school them on the damage they do.

The GOP is operating from a deep, deep hole when it comes to this issue, and the only way they'll be able to improve their situation is to get on the same page regarding Horowitz's strategy. They can't be afraid to have the PC Police call them racists, they have to be absolutely prepared to fight back when it happens. The Left has been speaking with a strong voice on this issue for decades, it's been extremely effective, and combating it effectively won't happen overnight.
