Reagan Believed that the 2nd Amendment Did Not Apply to Machine Guns

  • Apply forward pressure on the rifle. Making sure to keep that pressure light and consistent. This will move the trigger into your finger and cause a round to be fired.
  • The recoil will force the firearm back into the rear position while your forward pressure almost instantaneously forces the trigger back into your finger causing a round to fire.
  • just holding you finger against the trigger (keeping the trigger depressed) - makes it work, unless you want to fire individual burst
Here you are, describing the action of.... pulling the trigger for each round fired.
Thus, you prove yourself wrong.
Well done.

Obviously you don't even get to understand of me holding my finger onto your eye - and you forcing your eye into my finger due to the physical motion that you apply towards my finger due to you using a bump stock.
Discussion closed. Bye bye.

Like the AR-15.

It just shows you how far the Republican Party has moved away from the party of Reagan.

The Second Amendment does apply to machine guns in that they can be regulated pursuant to the National Firearms Act of 1934 and as upheld by the Supreme Court.

The point being that there isn’t a ‘right’ to own a fully automatic weapon, that the Second Amendment is not ‘unlimited,’ that It is not a right to keep and carry any weapon whatsoever in any manner whatsoever and for whatever purpose, that limits and restriction can be placed on the types of firearms possessed, that there is no ‘right’ of citizens to possess the same arms as those of the military, and that the Amendment has nothing to do with ‘deterring’ government tyranny.

A pointless thread
A pointless thread because there won’t be any ‘new’ AWB – there’s no political will in Washington for such a ‘ban’ and any ‘ban’ if enacted would be struck down by the Supreme Court.

The OP’s point seems to be that today’s Republicans have become extreme and radical about guns and are no longer disciples of St. Ronny.

You could be right - anyway, the future will show.

Yes, that seems to be the case.

You're a funny bitch. A liar but nonetheless funny.

He was wrong. Also, the AK-47, as sold on the civilian market, is not a machine gun.

Until you can understand the basic facts, you'll never make a convincing argument. Dumb people aren't persuasive.

What are those?
That's easy.

Any regulation the government has demonstrated to be consistent with this Nation’s historical tradition of firearm regulation.

See, only if a firearm regulation is consistent with this Nation’s historical tradition may a court conclude that the individual’s conduct falls outside the Second Amendment’s “unqualified command.”
