It was a cold war shtick the MIC used to profit on, with little gains at the great price of it since WW2

I'm all for the torch of freedom , and those who protect it , but if we can't even sort out this millennium's oppressors from the oppressed (because they trash any freedom they're granted as soon as the dust settles from us leaving) i see no need for our intervention elsewhere
