Rep. Will Hurd, the only black Republican in the House of Representatives, said he’s retiring from Congress to work toward diversifying the party.

“I’m interested in helping other candidates like me,” the Texas lawmaker said Sunday on CBS’ “Face the Nation.” “I want to see a Republican Party that has more folks that look and sound and operate like I do.”

I suspect that will herd is unable or unwilling to engage black people in conversation and explain his ideas to them

But if so he can talk to white republicans and explain what is wrong with us and why our policies are wrong for blacks and hispanics

My guess is he is incapable of doing either one
