Republicans give Bibi's racist rants a pass

Repubs brushing racist remarks under the rug? :eusa_think: No surprise there

Republicans Dismiss Netanyahu s Anti-Arab Remarks As Election Rhetoric ThinkProgress
Republicans continue to excuse Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s anti-Arab remarks and open repudiation of the two-state solution, despite decades of bipartisan agreement that an independent Palestinian state alongside Israel is the only way to resolve the Israel/Palestinian conflict.

Netanyahu’s election day video warning supporters that “Arab voters are going to the polls in droves” and his comments from earlier in the week admitting that he would not work to establish a Palestinian state, caused outrage around the world, including strong criticism from the Obama administration.

He said that Arab ISRAELIS were rushing to the polls in droves. How dare his citizens be allowed to exercise their voting rights!!! :mad-61:

He should take a cue from our Repubs and set-up barriers to the non-white, poor & elderly!!!

How is anything an Israeli head-of-state says any different than what the US said during WWII about the Japanese? When someone's your confirmed openly hostile enemy you can say whatever you like about them just as the US did the Japanese, Germans, Italians, and Vischy French.

Ya, holding a country that's been invaded multiple times by it's neighbors to a standard a country like the US has never faced (since the British) is completely fair. Especially when they aren't doing anything we ourselves haven't done and in far worse ways as with incarcerating our enemies, seizing their property and assets in addition to calling them names and racial slurs. Israel's SO much worse than we are just calling them names.

You mean in your pompous, self-serving opinion but whatever was said did not rise to the level of racism, as you falsely claimed, and therefore brings into view your racism.
