Republicans have awoken a SLEEPING Giant.

So what will they gain by all this? At the end of the day what's the sum in the game?
They will gain the attention of America and most important congressmen that will be wondering just how secure are they. Each day that passes, Trump will become more and more an insider, part of the swamp he promised to clear because one can not accomplish anything in Washington without become a part it.

I think Trump will see as time in office increases, that none of the issues he championed are win win issues. Fulfilling his promises will cause people to loose their healthcare benefits, the environment will suffer from loss of regulations, innocent people will be caught up in his immigration policies changes, shifting tax burden off the wealthy will create hardships for the poor. This will raise the sleeping giant which includes a lot of Trump supporters who will be hurt by his policies.
Your hope for dark days for America is noted, but Trump is President because most Americans outside of California are sick of the good enough standard by which America has been governed during the Obama years and have joined Trump is wanting to see America live up to its full potential.
Clinton carried a lot more than just California. She carried 20 states as well as the 100 largest counties in the country. She also carried most of the large cities in Red States such Dallas, Houston, Fort Worth, and Phoenix, Kansas City, St. Louis, Boise, Des Moines, New Orleans, Atlanta, etc..

The idea that Trump swept the county is ridiculous. Clinton carried the cities and most of the surrounding counties around the country and Republicans carried most of the rural counties.

November 8th was the day to be awoken. Now they have 4-8 years to protest for whatever their organizers deem is financially worthwhile protesting for.
Voting is not the only way Americans can take political action. Although the opposition may scoff that protests are just the actions of sore losers, they are far more than that.

Large protests steal the limelight from the administration making it difficult to sell it's actions to the public. Congressmen worry about how this will effect their upcoming election.

These protesters are not protesting just one issue , they cross the entire spectrum from immigration to healthcare to treatment of blacks, to discrimination directed at Muslims, to women rights, to gun control, etc. As these groups march together they strengthen each other's causes and narrow the focus down to one central issue, Trump's plans to tear down and create his vision of America.
All of which is why they lost......And Trump won and Dems didn't regain the Senate.....It's a dying bleat of old whites.who realize their time had passed
Probably the biggest factor in the dems loss is they didn't vote. Democrat votes were down nearly 15% between 2012 and 2016 while Republican votes were essentially the same. Democrats believed the polls and simply refused to accept the idea that Americans would elect someone like Trump. Don't expect that in the next election.
There's still that electoral college thingy. Getting more dumbfucks to vote in big cities does nothing.

Trump won by 77,000 total covering three state. He scraped by.

It's now up to 100,000 that have flooded into Denver to join the protest, and in freezing weather.
And they are all looking for some one to tell them why they are there.

I think they know why they're there, and unfortunately for you every single Republican Senator and house member knows too--LOL I imagine they're all craping their pants about right now. 2018 is just two short years away.

But I imagine you never considered that--LOL A typical Reich winger usually doesn't see beyond the tip of their nose.

lol So you think these women voted for Republicans? If you listen to what they say, it is clear they have no idea what they are protesting against or what they are protesting for. If there is one unifying issue, it is simply that a woman lost the election to man.

Yes he did...

He only beat Hillary by about 70 EV

America has awoken.
Yep. That's why you lost.
That's all you guys have to cling to.

Trump's approval rating is 32%. And it will only go down once people realize there are no jobs to "bring back".
Winning is clinging on? No one but other libtards believe the polling, they were way off and politically driven. You guys do the same stupid shit and expect different results.

Outside of California Trump won the popular vote by 1.4 million votes.

I am a former Republican and changed my party status to independent as soon as Trump was nominated. Don't worry, you'll still get the ridge runner woman vote, but your TOAST with the rest. No educated woman, with integrity is going to vote for this party anymore. They've had enough out of you. Donald Trump was the final straw.

The inauguration Honeymoon is definitely over the day after. Denver Colorado, woman's march estimated crowd size 40,000. This is going on all over the country, by the time it's over there will be more protesters that showed up, than the number of people that showed up for Trump's inauguration.

This Wiccan Cult Will Not Make Women Great Again

Femininny Titwits and Penis-Envy Piranhas have dragged down both women and men until they are no longer attracted to one another. Women have become confused, bitter, and desperately stuck in the very thing that caused their lack of a motivating purpose. It's about time they reject their bossy pushy dictators and follow their own natures without falling in line with any sacrificial mob.

The protest is WAY bigger than the inauguration.

Denver, only anticipated 40K and it has now grown to over 100K. And it's freezing in Colorado. This is going on all over the country.

Women’s March on Denver swells to more than 100,000 – The Denver Post

Republicans threw caution to the wind, and have now successfully thrown the baby out with the bath water, by selecting Trump as their nominee. They're going to pay heavily for it in 2018, and then again in 2020.

That's been one of the problems. Trump covers so much territory, he's difficult to nail down to one focus.

It's like his lies. I posted a link to just his "Pants on Fire" lies, pages of "Pants on Fires" lies,

All Pants on Fire! statements involving Donald Trump | PolitiFact

And people here on the USMB called fact checkers "fake news". And how many of those lies are actually on Youtube? You can watch him saying this stuff and they still deny it.

Their minds are made up and until they are actually harmed by his awful policies, their faith won't be shaken. It really is a religious fervor. They are addicted to a con man.

Like all demigods, Trump warns his supporters to put their faith only in him. Don't listen to the media, he says.

The only thing that will change their mind is when they see Trump implementing his policies and promises. Jobs will be created but not ones they will be filling. American will become weathier, but not the 99%. Taxes will go down, but not for them. They will see their Medicare premiums rise as Trump lowers the premiums for the most wealthy. They will see friends and family on Medicaid losing their healthcare benefits. They will see increased violence as Trump creates division between Mexican American, Blacks, and Whites.

In Chicago a crowd of 40,000 was originally expected- it turned out to be 250,000

Excellent. People self-identifying for future relocation and termination by the administrstion.

...yawn. Exactly what we voted against since that's how it WAS going. Is that the best you got?
