Republitards and outsourcing

Outsourcing has actually gotten worse on Hopey Changey's watch. Like so many of his promises, this one has definitely been broken. Nothing has changed,it's just more business as usual. "Hope & Change" = Simple mantras for simple minds.

And it will keep on getting worse, as long as there's tax incentives to move jobs overseas. Too bad the GOP played partisan corporate whores today, and killed legislation that would have encouraged more domestic jobs. If anyone pissed on the Hopey Changey parade, it was today's GOP refusing to let the measure go to a vote. The cowards don't want to be on record for supporting outsourcing.

Who just blocked a a bill that would have stopped and or lowered outsourcing? Have any answers for your miserable Republitard party or will you baselessly blame Obama for the screw ups of Republitards?

First off, the bill according to a non-partisan committee would have amounted to a new net tax of $299 billion. But, even more to your point.. aren't the Dems running the show?

Wow, we're spending close to $300 billion in tax incentives to move jobs off-shore. That's a great use of our tax dollars.

The China Job Drain | Alliance for American Manufacturing

The main unfair advantages China uses to its advantage are:
1) Currency manipulation. China "pegs" its currency at a very low, or "weak" rate, so goods from China cost up to 40% less than they otherwise should.
2) Labor-rights suppression has lowered manufacturing wages of Chinese workers by 47% to 86%.
3) There is massive direct government subsidization of export production in many key industries.
4) China allows environmental degradation that ends up affecting all of us.
5) Intellectual property theft and piracy mean that American products that could be sold are stolen instead.
6) China has a number of policies that block U.S. firms from market access.

The report highlights growing concerns over high U.S. unemployment, the loss of U.S. factory jobs and the rise of China as a world power and trading giant. The U.S. trade deficit with China rose from $84 billion in 2001 to $270 billion in 2008, before sliding last year as world trade shrunk.

GOP blocks Democrats’ jobs outsourcing bill – CNN Political Ticker - CNN.com Blogs

If the Republitards really cared about creating jobs for Americans with their trickle theory tax cuts, why did they block this bill? Is it because they fear losing the money that non-Americans are pouring into their campaigns and party? From the link:

Republicans say they disagree that these measures will keep jobs in America and are lashing out at Democrats for holding last minute political votes.

So they guess shipping the jobs overseas is going to help the economy? And these monkeys have the nerve to push for trickle down tax cuts to stimulate job creation.....for non-Americans overseas who abused the hell out of poor people in these countries? What kind of corporate Republican crack are they smoking? I bet not one rightwing, retarded monkey can come up with any argument to support outsourcing jobs overseas at a time when unemployment is high, so I expect to her the same lame insults and monkey talk from the forum's Republican strategists, lol.

Well, if the Democrats are for it, it must be good. They've been right about everything else so far.

I love it when a plan comes together.

So what's the alternative?

LOWER TAXES. They won't GO OVERSEAS.

See? I can swear.

From the article:

Washington (CNN) – Senate Republicans successfully blocked a bill from coming to the Senate floor Tuesday that Democrats claim would help keep American jobs from going overseas.

Republicans call it nothing more than a pre-election political ploy.

The Democratic bill would have ended certain tax breaks for companies expanding overseas while giving new tax incentives to businesses bringing jobs home.

Yeah, the GOP cares about working people...bullshit. They only care about their corporate overlords.

Whats even more funnier is that they argued that extending the Bush taxcuts would do more to create jobs than this outsourcing bill, which is is retarded considering that the taxcuts have produced none of the jobs they promised, mostly because the Bush taxcuts came during a budget surplus.

Read here:

washingtonpost.com

Business groups strongly opposed the measure, and Republicans said the tax break would have been miniscule compared with the benefit of extending the Bush-era tax breaks.

"The best thing Congress can do for Americans right now is lower - not raise - the cost of creating good jobs," said Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.). "This bill would raise taxes on the very job creators that we hope will hire out-of-work Americans, which makes no sense, especially in the middle of a recession."[/b]."

Shipping the jobs overseas and not keeping them in America is defeating the whole purpose of the tax cuts.

What are jobs creators doing cousin? Sitting on fucking piles of cash looking to make themselves rich.

Tea Bastards and fucking dipshit Republicans want this, this is what they're voting for, to be slaves to corporate America and the government they hate so much.

The GOP does not want to see jobs at this point. They want the economy to fail.

I THINK VOTERS NEED TO KNOW WHO MAKES THE GOP MOVE. Especially now that it has been found that the Chambers is soliciting money from outside the country to fund their attack ads. Want a link?

Pushing companies is really going to encourage them to create jobs here.

Maybe if you democrats didn't support policies that do the exact opposite of what you claim you want them to do, more people would support it.

Nah, I have the link for the Huffington Post and the SEIU already, thanks.

No, idiot. The bill would increase outsourcing, not reduce it.
What is it with the Left? When the gov't declares this bill is going to do such and such they immediately knee jerk to trusting them, rather than look at what it will actually do.
In any case, outsourcing has been a benefit to the US economy. We get many more jobs outsourced to us than away from us. And since the unemployment rate for most of the Bush years was between 3 and 5% the case that outsourcing costs jobs is hard to make.

Seriously, that was the answer? At least say WHY you voted against it instead of describing WHY they believe the bill exists.

They arent even trying anymore.

The GOP cares about the dollar. Just like the Chamber taking foreign dollars to buy attack ads.

Do you understand how stupid this statement is? One minute you say that this bill will increase outsourcing and the next you say outsourcing is good for the country. Which is it? You GOP types need to find a way of talking out of both sides of your mouth, without someone seeing your lips move. That is when the lying begins, when your lips move.

The Job Creators are also known as Risk Takers. The risk is that if money is spent on a business venture, the goal is to make money, but that is not assured.

The more uncertainties that are placed between the investment and the goal of a profit, the fewer Risk Takers will venture their capital into the game and the fewer new operations or growing operations there will be.

The Big 0 has made it abundantly clear that if anyone is making money, he sees a definite top end limit on what they should be allowed to profit. If the winning side of the risk is limited but the losing side remains the same, the players leave the game.

That is what's happened. There is no mystery and no conspiracy. The Big 0 has killed the Golden Goose.
