Retail theft uptick force store closures

Plenty of stores closing due to crime ridden urban areas and or downtown. Walmarts, Nike, etc., google is your friend.

Here is an idea.
Have a security check at the entrance.
People must give their ID card to the security check while they shop.
They get their ID card back when they leave the store.

That's racist. It's too hard for POC to get a legal state ID/Drivers License.

Well the measures aren't targeting blacks. They are targeting criminals. The fact that the vast majority of these thefts are because of blacks isn't the reason, the reason is to deter stealing. And stealing is wrong, but I guess it's only wrong when you aren't black.

What a world. Blacks comitt a shit load of crimes, but they don't want to stop the criminals because it's racist to treat a black criminal like a criminal because they committed crimes.

In California, increasing security is a waste of time. Everyone is allowed to steal about one thousand dollars at a time without any consequences and you can keep on going back as many times as you want as long as you keep it to less than a thousands dollars.

You can’t say “race hustlers.” All the board’s race hustlers will demand that you se silenced.

Also, just to be clear, just because a store owner has a store in an area prone to heavy shoplifting in a jurisdiction that declines to arrest or prosecute shoplifters doesn’t mean you have a right to close your stores.

Haven’t you heard? Closing stores just because of shoplifting and non-enforcement of criminal laws is “racist.”

This is what I thought should have happened in Seattle. There is an unused former federal corrections facility on an island in Puget Sound where they could have been funneling all the chronic drug abusers in Seattle, but the asshole dems won't do it.

They won't build a net for the drug users because they might get caught in it themselves. Many in high places use drugs. They are the ones responsible for lack of effective programs.
