Zone1 Revelation 13:3

Oh I remember blue laws.
the big problem for the local
population where I lived was
the alcohol restrictions---in the
remote parts of town, near the
railroad tracks, inebriates wandered
around looking confused

I remember that they were silly. You could buy a baby bottle but not a nipple. Sounds like you had a lot of drunks.

not alot----but sunday was picnic and beer
day for the local lutherans and episcopalians
whilst the kids were in sunday school. We had
to go to drive to a place where you could buy quarts of milk from a machine. Local small
groceries just CLOSED

they don't. I just thought it silly. There
were little stores that had to "rope off"
parts of their merchandise because SOME
THINGS could not be sold on sunday

I remember them being mildly annoying, but then when I got older I liked having one day a week off at the same time everybody else did, except for the food service people and grocery stores and movies.
