Ridiculous Thread by Chief Moderator Removed

I think this is a well run board, and I have commented on that fact a number of times, so naturally I have not had any reason to complain about it...until now.

Last night, the Chief Moderator (Coyote) started a thread pounding Trump for a perfectly trivial reason, based on some more Fake News out of the Pravda-like New York Times. The Original Post did little more than establish clearly that this Chief Moderator is suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS)....which now has many poor mis-guided soles in its grips, and now the whole long thread has been REMOVED....the sole reason for which must be to protect this Chief Moderator from further embarrassment and/or to hide yet another LIE coming out of the Socialist Mouthpiece--the New York Times.

It seems unfair to me. Its a form of cooking the books....or, as Trump would say....another example of Rigging.

Is this board now going to be run so as to protect Liberals and Loons from their follies and foolishness and lies and Hate for our duly elected President?

This board has moderators from both sides of the fence and the moderators have the same freedoms to post anything they want, just like you.
Don't like it? Well then go to some board that that only allows conservatives posters. That way, you can enjoy conservative circle jerks all day, any day.

Yes I was getting hammered in that thread, and guess what, I admitted I was wrong, IN THAT THREAD OUT IN THE OPEN, SEVERAL TIMES.

We got a report that there was already a thread on that topic that I hadn't seen so the threads were merged. If you had taken a wee bit of effort to look for posts, or followed the merge link you would have discovered that for yourself.

I can just imagine what your outrage would be if I HADN'T merged it: MAD MOD THINKS SHE'S ABOVE THE RULES AND CREATES DUPLICATE THREADS.

We have staff who are left, right, and libertarian. Someone is always going to to be unhappy with at least one of us. That's why we say if you don't like something contact whomever suits you. We operate by a consensus and discuss controversies as a group. Being given Sr mod doesn't mean much other than we handle issues others can't or are having trouble with.

If you insist that mods shouldn't post, we'll good luck...you wouldn't have any staff. We are allowed to post like any other member, we are allowed our political views when we do.

As far as deleting or closing threads - an op can always request it, and we extend it as a courtesy. I have never done so with my own however.
