"Romney says Obama failed America"

Romney says Obama failed America - Yahoo! News
"President Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and their team have failed the American people, and that is why their majority will be out the door," Romney told a gathering of conservatives, a certain critical constituency in the upcoming Republican primary fight.
"When it comes to pinning blame, pin the tail on the donkeys," Romney quipped — and this partisan crowd ate it up.

Sounds like he is getting ready to run for president already. I could not agree more with this:

Still, he said: "The American people have shown that they are ready for truth to trump hope. The truth is that government is not the solution to all our problems."

Republicans accuse Obama of being arrogant. Frankly, I could never see it. Romney on the other hand belittled the sacrifice of American soldiers by saying what his sons were doing was "more important".

Romney: My sons aren't in military, but are serving nation by 'helping me get elected' - On Politics: Covering the US Congress, Governors, and the 2010 Election - USATODAY.com

And one of the ways my sons are showing support for our nation is helping me get elected

What Romney is "required" to wear under his "Brooke's Brothers Suit".

I wonder how his speech will change when he's talking to farmers in the midwest.

"This is all socialism (except for your farm subsidies - that's real capitalism at work)"

yeah I wonder how Bush rode that thin line in Iowa.

Sorry Mitt, After 8 years of George W. Bush and now the current disaster we have in the White House, it's becoming clear to me that anybody that actually wants the Presidency isn't qualified to have it.

Find the guy or gal that has to be dragged kicking & screaming into the Oval Office and that's who I'll vote for.

Well, that's a hurdle that any "conservative" candidate has to get past. "Liberals" get that one as a freebie.

And still, when they're in Iowa, EVERYONE loves farm subsidies.

yeah I think it's why McCain isn't exactly loved there.

So much can and will happen between now and the time that the 2012 election becomes forefront with the American people...

Quite possible for the economy to recover completely, leaving a Obama reelection pretty much in the bag.

If the economy is still in mixed shape, GOP has a good shot.

If it's even worse, Obama will lose if he runs for reelection.

Nice thought, but have you ever been in a job you did not want?
Not very productive.

if it's worse, could Palin beat obama?

if it's worse, could Palin beat obama?

I doubt it. What financial background does she have to prove she could do better? Obama could point to Wasilla if he really wanted and the fact that as Governor of Alaska she didn't even get through an entire term.

This is assuming of course that somehow Palin gets past everyone else, which I don't see.

Hard to say what will happen if it is still this bad or worse in 2012, and it is possible...

Heck maybe even Ron Paul could win?

naah...

Oh, of course not. Nor the really religious states. It will come down to the wire because Romney is a Mormon. If he wasn't, he would of won the nomination in 2008, never mind 2012.
