Nah, I was raised in a rural environment and my Mom still lives there, they don't cotton to people coming in and telling them how to live and what to believe. It's a totally different world. The biggest thing is they have morals and they live that way

I am still in a rural community. My community was an independent mill town/fishing town right up through the Spotted Owl mess. Burns used to be a tough ranching and farming community. Both have totally been taken over by communists. The descendants of the people who used to work here who remain are drug addicted, on welfare, and are on the third generation of progressive re-education through the federalized school systems...sub-funded by the forest service.

They are laughed at and mocked by some. But more than half the working population in these communities are public employees, who make on the average 2x the yearly income of the non-government workers.

The few who remain who are reasonable and have any control at all are sadly outnumbered, and when they really stand for their values, they are emprisoned. Or killed.

LOL So what Kosher said here is that the people that did not leave as the jobs left are druggies, and on welfare. Those of us that realized that there was no longer a decent living to be made in places like Burns or Grant County, left and went to where the jobs are at. Oh yes, and since we took education seriously, and did study in school, instead of trying to prove how dumb we were like some people's children, well, we got the good jobs in the cities. Now those people that are hired to care for our public lands do not make nearly what I do, and they are worth every cent, unlike the idiots that refused to be educated.

There are all too many people in these rural communities that think that they can do whatever they please, no matter what the laws. It is the hardworking people that have the better jobs that keep the loony tunes in check. I know, because many of those people keeping the loony tunes in check in that area are related to me.

The populated areas, Portland, Eugene, Bend, are solid blue. The rural areas, most of Eastern Oregon, and some of Southwestern Oregon, are solid red. The populated areas, Portland, Eugene, Bend, are solid blue. The rural areas, most of Eastern Oregon, and some of Southwestern Oregon, are solid red. In Grant County, the Oregonian has been targeting the Sheriff, who is decidedly anti-federal patrol/control of the county. Sheriff Palmer is not a rich guy. His office consists of him and..well, him. He is able to deputize as needed, which he also gets shit about.

Most recently, he was sued for tens of thousands of dollars for failing to jump fast enough when the Oregonian demanded his emails and other documents, for the express purpose of harassing and intimidating him.

This is how they chase out and destroy the resident culture. They use limitless resources over the course of decades to wear them down and eliminate them.

Sheriff Palmer is a loony tune that wanted to give sanctuary to the miscreants at the Malhuer Wildlife Refuge. The rest of the people in Grant County prevented him from giving those felons help.
